I joined the gym but cancelled it because it wasn't working for my life circumstances. If I could go I would in heart beat. I got myself a fitbit and bought myself an exercise bike. As I lose more weight I am buying myself workout equipment as a reward!?! It finally came down that my life circumstances were not going to be…

I started 50 days ago. I joined a gym in January and went for 3 months and my knees got so bad. For now the best thing I ever did was quite the gym all I could do was treadmill. I bought a fitbit July 4th, got cortisone shot in knees and meds. I started walking. In the beginning I would walk then rest only a few feet. I…

There are no words to take away the pain. I believe they can hear you. My father passed away a year ago. He was on hospice. We had his mother in Minnesota talk to him. I held the phone to his ear and though he could not talk I believe he heard her. Please take the time to grieve and take care of yourself. God bless. I will…

I just know I didn't want to be in the same pain I was/am in because of my knees. That is what motivates me --- to run around with my son -- walk with my students and not…

walking is about the only thing I can do. I aim for 6000-10000 steps a day. I hit my calorie intake and step goal and I have lost 9 pounds in 24 days. It seems doable. I have bad arthritis in my knee so I work on walking and then take breaks when I have pain. Walk and watch tv.
