  • Hello all, I just completed w6d1 today :) I completed c25k last summer but had to stop running due to health issues :( I just started again at w5d1. Hoping I can continue running this time and do a 5k this summer :D
  • That sounds really good. Thanks for sharing :)

  • When I started in January 2013 and a few weeks ago. Still have more to go tho
  • Been a while since I've posted in this thread but I'm pleased to say I've completed the c25k free program. I had a bit of a break after I completed it but I've started running again. I'm working on my pace right now cause I was pretty slow lol. I ran 4.44k this morning in 36:15 minutes. The last time I did 5k it took me 49…
  • Vancouver(Surrey) here!!
  • I used Runtastic which also syncs to MFP. I set it for walking until I was running more then walking, then i set it to running. Now I use a HRM to log my exercises. Good luck with the program it's great =)

  • Just look at my pic from January. If that didn't do it for me nothing would have.
  • I did W7D2 today but I didn't follow the program this time. I started the app and ran the entire time, through both 5 minute walks for a total run time of 36 minutes. I'm feeling really good about it. I just need to work on my pace so I can hit the 5k mark within 30 minutes. Today was 4.07km in 36 minutes so I have a bit…
  • @nisijam5 yes it did lol I finished W7D1 this morning =) Again I was able to run the 5 minute cool down plus and extra minute. So that makes it a 31 minute nonstop run. My calf felt good. I gave it a good stretch before and after. Now I want to work on my pace. I managed to knock off 20 seconds from my last run but I still…
  • Thanks for the tips everyone =) It was still a touch tight today so I didn't go for my usual walk between runs today. @melissaol I've never heard of that rolling pin one before lol I didn't try it this time but if it acts up tomorrow I will give it a shot. @nisijam5 No the icy hot patch didn't do anything. I stretched it…
  • I think I over did it this afternoon =( My left calf is extremely tight and it hurts like hell to walk. I've got an icy hot patch on it now so I'm hoping it will get better. I keep forgetting to say this but feel free to add me if you want. I'm almost done but I'm really thinking of doing the 10k one next. I'm really…
  • I completed W6D3 today plus I was able to do extra running. I did the 5 min warm up walk and ran the 22 minutes and buy the time I got the 1 minute left message I was feeling really good so I ended up running through the 5 minute cool down walk then I walked for 2 minutes and ran for another 3 minutes to my front door.…
  • Had it last night, was good!
  • Went for 2 days in a row this week. Feeling it now lol. W6D2 complete!!
  • Well I ran 2 days in a row for the first time this morning. The second half was slower then the first half, according to the Runtastic stats. I didn't feel as tired running as I thought I would have but now that I've been home for an hour my knees and calf's are feeling it. Anyway W6D2 is now in the books =)
  • That's awesome! You will have no troubles doing this. Sounds like you would find the C210K more of a challenge? I'm thinking of doing that after I finish the C25K since I'm enjoying it so much.
  • By the end of week 5 you'll be doing a 20 minute run. I thought the same thing, no way can I do that, but I was able to do it. Just stick with it and you will be able to do it as well =)
  • Do whatever your body can handle. I just finished W6D1 of C25k this morning and I'm loving it. I'm currently running on M W F and walking T T S and resting on Sunday but since I felt so good after today's run I'm thinking of doing W6D2 tomorrow but i don't know yet lol.
  • W6D1 complete this morning =) Keep at it everyone.
  • Looks very yummy!! Going to try this for dinner tonight I think =)
  • 230lbs when I started and I'm now 221 and I just finished week 6 day 1 this morning =)
  • W5D3 complete!! If you would have said to me in week one that I'd be running non-stop for 20 minutes by the end of week 5 i would have laughed and said no way. Well I just did it =) Keep at it everyone.
  • W5D2 complete today!! Still quite worried about D3. 20 minutes is quite the jump from a 8 minute run. @highervibes I wish I had some answers for you but I'm all new to this too. I did go running with my Dad last week in the Bog on gravel trails and I found it really hurt my hips, uneven ground. He runs down there all time…
  • W5D1 completed this morning =) @emzilee I'm worried about that day too lol. It sure seems like quite a jump to me.
  • W4D3 complete today. A little worried about week 5 tho. It seems to make quite a jump that I don't think I'm ready for. I may just end up repeating week 4, I'm not sure yet.
  • I'm using C25k Free and enjoy it.
  • I'm really worried about that last day in week 5. It's seems to be quite a jump to a 20 minute run from 8 and 5 minute runs.
  • You are almost done, that's awesome!! I completed W4D2 today =)
  • That's awesome!! I'm on W4D2 tomorrow, halfway there =)
