I'm very sorry for what you're going through. I also suffer from panic attacks. They started for me as part of post-partum depression after having my 2nd child. I finally went to my doc and got some Xanax. Honestly, I hardly ever take them, but just knowing they're in the house in case the panic attacks get too bad makes…

So this is interesting...I tried 2 different online calculators today, using the exact same measurements. One told me I was a 36DD, while the other told me I was a 38A! Really? Even with the change in band size, I don't see how I could go from an A to a DD!

I've noticed that this setting is pretty messed up because obviously you should burn more calories pushing a stroller than without, but for some reason it logs as fewer calories burned. I usually use the speed option instead, or if I'm really trying to get exercise by walking with the kids, I wear my HRM and log actual…

Thanks for the tips and advice!

I don't have it myself, but my mother does. She actually has lupus, antiphospholipid syndome, Sjogren's syndrome, Hashimoto's, and 3 other more minor autoimmune problems. Have you been tested for antiphospholipid syndrome for the headaches? My mom had them for decades before she was diagnosed. After diagnosis, they put her…

I'm vegetarian, and as far as work is concerned, I've gotten in the habit of making extra at dinner time so I can take the leftovers to work the next day for lunch. I usually keep a few pre-packaged frozen meals in my fridge for those nights that I don't have any leftovers.

I was a vegan for 15 years (I'm still vegetarian), and I would never dream of telling someone else what to eat. In fact, I think people like that make other vegetarians even more angry because they give all of us a bad name.

I've been vegetarian for over 20 years, and I eat tons of different things. Beans and rice, w/w pasta with mixed veggies (you can always buy them frozen), tons of ethic options--stir fries, Indian curries, Thai curries. If you have a Trader Joe's or a Whole Foods near you, they sell lots of jarred sauces and frozen fake…

soda most candy (except for pure chocolate) potato chips I don't eat any meat for ethical reasons, but I guess at this point you could say I hate it. Even when I ate meat, I always hated fast food burgers.

I don't think there's any set weight or fitness level needed to start it. I found it very easy to modify, and I agree that the cardio really isn't that hard (with the exception of the plyo).

I think you're looking great! And by the way, I found out I had back fat when my then 4 year old daughter asked me "Mommy why do you have boobies on your back too?". Nice!

I'm 39 and have 2 kids. I'm also doing P90X, but the Lean version. How on earth do you find time to do doubles with 4 kids? That's impressive!

I have this problem with pasta and rice. I cook for a family of 4, so only having the dry quantities is very confusing to me.

You can always substitute soy cheese or rice cheese in place of the dairy kind, if dairy is the problem for you. We're vegetarians and we eat lots of w/w pastas, veggie and tofu stir fries, veggie burgers with veggies on the side. You can even make lasagna with blended tofu as a filler instead of ricotta.

If you put in that you want a girl, it will tell you not to have sex on your ovulation day or the day after. If you put in that you want a boy, it will tell you not to have sex on the 2-3 days before ovulation. If your concern is just getting pregnant, you should be having sex on all of those days (or at least every other…

I was vegan for 15 years. I went back to ovo-lacto a couple years ago, but I still eat primarily vegan, and I'm always OVER on my protein. Are you opposed to eating soy "meats"? For example, whole grain pasta with a tomato sauce with grilled Tofurky Italian Sausage has tons of protein. Eat nuts as snacks, or nut butters on…

I just looked on babymed.com and this is what is says: Have sex regularly at least 2-3 times a week and every day during the 5-6 fertile days before ovulation and the day of ovulation. To improve your chances getting pregnant you need to make love on your fertile days. You only have 5-6 fertile days each cycle, the 4-5…

Simply have sex as often as you possibly can. I used the ovulation calendars when trying to get pregnant with my second, and ended up getting pregnant on a day that should have been impossible according to the calendar. I was simply using the calendar, I wasn't checking basal body temp, cervical fluids, etc. If you want to…

Most of the time, no I don't do this. Honestly, I grew up with a mother who did this out loud all the time, and I still believe that this is one of the main reasons I've had issues with food my whole life. Also, unless you know the person, you really don't know their situation. Maybe they're having a treat after weeks of…

I can reply to the boob part. After my first child, my breasts were pretty deflated looking for a few months after I stopped breastfeeding, but they went back to almost normal over the following year or so. After my second child, my breasts looked like two deflated balloons after I stopped breastfeeding. Seriously, they…

Thanks to everyone for your comments and advice. I do think it's his insecurity more than anything else. Especially since I've been so many different sizes and shapes in the past 11 years, and this was the first "eww" comment I ever got. The mention of Jessica Biel is funny to me because I remember my husband and I…

Yeah, I do think there's some jealousy going on with him. He has gained a lot of weight over the years also, and he isn't doing anything to get in better shape. But he's a man, and he's fairly tall, so I don't think the weight is as obvious on him as it was on me (at 5'3).

How much water are you drinking? The few times this has happened to me before, it was because I was dehydrated. I drank lots of water, and then followed up with a couple cups of strong coffee the next morning. That fixed the problem. Honestly, it sounds like your diet includes very little fiber. I know fresh fruits and…

There are larger framed people and smaller framed people, but I don't think individual bones are bigger or smaller. I know I have very broad shoulders and very broad hips. That never changed even though I've been every size from a 4 to an 18. But I do agree that too many people use it as an excuse to carry extra weight.

I was around 185 when I did it (I'm only about 5'3), and it did hurt my knees, but not to the point where I had to stop. I would suggest doing the lunges more slowly to be sure that you're keeping good form. Also, I found it helpful to stay in one direction, rather than doing the pendulum lunges. After I finished my…

I'm on week 3 of the Lean version, and honestly it's not nearly as difficult as I was expecting. Certainly challenging, but not as hard as some will lead you to believe. Everything can be tailored to suit your individual needs. The only thing I've found virtually impossible for me is the Ab Ripper routine. After having 2…

I have a gym across the street from my office, so I go at lunchtime. I've found that if I wait until after work, I'm out of energy. Several days a week I work from home, and on those days I workout in our basement. I try to find a kids' movie for them to watch and give them some snacks so I can have some uninterrupted time…

I absolutely love Zumba! I tend to burn about 500-600 calories per hour long class. I will say that you have to go to several classes and learn the steps before you can really get into it enough to burn a significant number of calories. Also, different instructors teach very different classes. Some are very low impact and…

I started my weight loss journey with the 30DS at the beginning of this year. I didn't lose a single pound, but I went down a full dress size.

Good one! And I could totally see my kids doing that!
