Amazing job with your weight-loss journey. You're a really good storyteller, btw.

Wow. I wasn't sure how much progress I could have only using free weights but this is just the proof I needed. Thank you!

Lost an elephant's heart. Working on losing a small bale of hay next.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. There's some really good ones on here that I will be trying this weekend.

Feel free to add me as well. I log everyday and try to support my friends as much as possible since I work two jobs and go to school full time. Anyone is welcome to add me.

lol. I'm sorry. I couldn't workout to this video because I can't stop cracking up at the instructor. Thanks for suggesting it though!

I've actually used the hasfit vids with that coach. I like them and will try to use them more often. I'm also interested to try the befit in 90 one as well.

I'm curious to try it using my HRM to see the calorie burn. Will give it a try. Thanks!

I also have 100 lbs to lose and work out at home using dumbbell and body weight training. I just started a couple weeks ago and would say you should learn about compound lifts done with dumbbells and a bench. Use 5lbs and hogher only with 30 sec to start in between each rep. The rest time between reps should decrease as…

Ditto! Bumping for ideas as I'm not sure what to buy there as opposed to a Pathmark.

That's messed up of your friends to do. I would've turned around and walked out the door. If they're trying to sabotage you like that, it probably won't be the last time. I would drop them or at least make them understand that they're supposed to be supportive in some way as my friend, and maybe not shove unhealthy snacks…

I would spending a year getting myself in top shape, set my mom up with her own personal trainer and chef and get myself together. Then because I spent my teens and 20s coraising my siblings, I would spend my 30s traveling around all over the world (starting with Tuscany-love Under The Tuscan Sun) and living it up the way…

My Polar FT7 works great when I'm spinning and is accurate.

I'm in the same boat. Along with cardio, I recently started weight training and body weight exercise program using only dumbbells. For core exercises I've been using this app called JEFIT. It has tons of core/ab exercises you can do at home without equipment as well as with equipment.

I just bought an FT7 on Friday and started using it. For my spinning cardio, MFP was 100 calories higher than my FT7 and my spin bike was about 45 cal higher than my FT7. So I think my FT7 is probably pretty accurate whereas MFP is not.

I just bought my first HRM on Friday, a Polar FT7 and I love it. Totally worth the money so far and way more accurate than MFP.
