  • Depends if you want to loose a good amount of weight or not, I eat only about 40% of my exercise cals back! mainly because I doubt how accurate they are.! then you could live on 1200 calories, so in this case I would eat 1200+40% of 1500 =1200+600=1800 till 1500+600=2100, so yes your 2200 would be good. Don't eat…
  • That is so different from everyone, you also don't mention how long the workouts will be, but a quick guess would be 10lb, 5 kg.

  • Yes that would be way to high 45 minutes on the threadmill would be about 400 calories walking, more if you were running say 700 45 minutes weights would be about 200 calories. Walking around the house should not really give you any besides the ones you normally burn.

  • Then MFP gives you a different number yet again. Anything that does NOT include your AGE and WEIGHTT can NOT be ACCURATE! I have used MFP numbers, which are lower then the numbers the machines give me. The Fitbit Flex is about par with the machines, however my Polar HRM is quite a bit lower. If I just use the cardio…

  • Still here after just over a year. I readjusted my goals and want to loose an other 10 kg after losing 20, however they move very slowly, so a new tack plus I have a New Years resolution. Resolution is to run the Perth marathon if my calves and knees hold up in June. Diet wise I have to try something new, might try to 5/2…
  • Run a marathon in June, from being a non runner and before my 60th. Then reach my goal weight, 23 kilos down 7 more to go! Love and enjoy life and be kind to everyone!
  • Post it when you are struggling, good friends will help to find a solution! :-)
  • Ok from a guys perspective: Mind you I am not maybe the norm. I personally like smaller boobs and think anything larger then a hand full is totally wasted. I certainly do not like fake boobs or to large a boob, especially if they fail the pencil test. ;-)
  • Doing a bit of research as well, Polar is most liked among MFP users and also been seen as the most accurate. I am thinking of buying the FT7

  • You need to stop saying you are on a diet!!!!! It is a life change, which you will do for ever, a diet means at some stage you will go of them and most people fall of it far to soon. Especially when your husband is home you need to enjoy having him around. I suggest that on those days he is home ask him to take you out for…
  • Every day, whenever I am naked or near naked in the bathroomas as there resides the scale. I find it fascanates me how much it can fluctuate, once I git reallydesponded though as my weight was going up, but I was actually working out harder and watching what I ate. I figured out tough that it had been the diuretics (on…
  • My advice is a little different, I would plan for it. 1) I would have a massive workout try to get to 1000 calories 2) Eat very little during the day but plenty of water Then pick something yummy but not that bad eg fillet steak, pork fillet, chicked breast, duck etc all cooked on the BBQ plus a salad. Drink water and go…
  • I had to laugh at all those replies. I think it is because most grew up in a different era. Communal sports had communal showers and this saved money at home, kids nowadays go home after a soccer or footy game to have a shower. Also we went through the swinging sixties, womens liberation, the burning of bras and freedom.…
  • You are doing absolutely fantastic. All you could maybe do is make sure your heart rate is in the high end of your target rate when you are walking as you would burn calories so much faster. You could achive that by starting to walk faster or start of to jog for a minute, walk for 2 etc, slowly built of the speed for the…
  • awesome and very inspirational. :-)
  • My body react to a night of drinking, something you really need to factor in especially if you go silly. I recommend big work out on the day and the day after. Lastly you need to be honest and enter Everything, even weigh what you eat for a couple of weeks so you get a fair picture.
  • These from my travelling days (and you can't say no) Monkey (with hairs still on) Fufu, (this West African pice of glucky yucky pounded cassava root) Deep fried grasshopper Witchity grub Testicles I am sure I can think of some more Although some obscure ones where actually not to bad.
