Congratulations! I think that there is no such thing as a "small accomplishment" - anything that you can do now, that you couldn't/wouldn't do before is worth celebrating :flowerforyou: I look forward to hearing about all your future NSVs

I've pretty much always had the same hairstyle: long (atleast half way down my back) and it's naturally wavy. I'd love to reward myself with a new haircut, maybe like a shoulder length bob...

Thanks to each and every one of you - it was very sound advice. I think i'm going to try to stick with the 1300, up my workouts so that i can eat a bit more and try to make less calorific food choices. If i find i'm still struggling, i'll up it slightly. Thanks once again for all your help :drinker:

Hey! i began working out and watching my calories in November, and my exercise began with 30DS. I took photos the day i started, and approx. every 2 weeks. i also took my measurements. I definately suggest taking measurements and relying on those changes rather than judging your success on the scale! i mark on the…

Hey everyone! My starting weight was: 73Kg My current weight is: 68.1Kg and my goal weight is 65kg. Im not too focused on the weights though, since i'm more interested in dropping some sizes, improving my health/fitness levels and toning/defining. I do one of jillians dvds 5 to 6 days a week, and try to stick within my MFP…

Doing level 1 i pretty much limped everywhere cos my calves were sooo stiff. But the good news is that this does go away! ;) Level 2 works abs alot more than level 1. I have since completed the 30DS, and am currently rotating jillians DVDs (1 day of each) and i no longer find my calves stiffen up - i think that once you…

Well done!! :flowerforyou: i hope to lower my bf % to that one day!!

I have also begun working on my visionboard. I bought a magnetic board to put in my attic (which is where i work out) and i plan on putting up my goals, my "reasons to workout", my NSVs, my decreasing measurements/weight... Well done on completing yours!

I also recommend 30DS. I noticed a BIG difference in my body, in my strength, flexibility and endurance aswell. I completed the 30DS and am currently rotating daily several of Jillians DVDs (30DS, RI30, 6week6pack,BodyRevolution and Killer Buns+Thighs) I love how each one is on average 30 mins long (so there are NO…

Try and find something you enjoy doing - join a gym, go for walks, take up a new hobby (e.g. painting, photgraphy...) I also eat when i'm bored, but recently i find there just aren't enough hours in the day... between work, house cleaning, my daily workouts, spending time with hubby i have little time left to be bored ;)
-
In my opinion RI30 is harder than 30DS, and alothough i LOVE the toughness of RI30, i find BR just seems to fly by cos i'm jsut enjoying it so much! :) i defiantely recommend any and all of Jillians DVDs :D

I did Body revolution, static bike, elliptical and finished the workout with a 19 minute jog. I was super proud of myself cos it's the first time i've jogged outdoors and it was a spur of the moment, seize the day kind of thing. Made my day

I love jillian michaels dvds! Currently i'm rotating: 30 day shred, body revolution, 6 week 6 pack, ripped in 30...doing 1 dya of each keeps me from getting bored and i like how "quick" they are (under 30 mins). Normally i do 30 min dvd, followed by atleast another 30 mins cardio (bike, elliptical and jogging). i burn an…

Thanks for posting - i think it's a nice idea :) i use a tape measure - i actually mark my measurements in pen, and write on it the date and body part so i can physically see how many centimetres i'm losing :) it helps keep me motivated without relying on the scale which can often demotivate me!

Over 4 years ago when i got my current job, i was handed a size 38 skirt (the largest size they had) and holding up this tiny skirt i informed them there was no way that it would fit me. They insisted i try it on, which ofcourse only served to prove my point (and add to my embrassement). They had a size 42 skirt made…

Glad you decided to post earlier than you planned - it was a great reminder to us all on appreciating ourselves and our progress. Congrats on your weightloss - you look great!!! :D

Got a small tv with USB port so that i can watch/do my workout dvds without having to keep moving my laptop (we have steep staircase up to the attic/gym) :D was suuuuuper happy with hubbys present!

Extremely moving

Well done!!:drinker:

From reading many posts here on MFP i decided to take before photos - wearing my skin tight shorts, and gym bra/top. I took from the front, side and back. In hind sight, i wish i had taken some better ones of my arms. Since then i've done the 30 Day Shred, added elliptical and stationary bike workouts to my workout…

Today was Jillians Body Revolution Cardio Workout for 30 minutes followed by 25 minutes of alternating bicycle and elliptical and ending with 5 minute abs.

Well done!!!:flowerforyou:

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! i havent been weighing myself, so i'm using NSV to keep me motivated
-
Sorry for the ignorance, but what is FR?

30 days ago i couldnt: touch my toes, i couldnt do more than 20 jumpropes/jumping jacks without stopping to catch my breath, i couldnt do more than a minute on the elliptical without coughing up a lung!
-
Congrats on the loss!! keep it up!!

I'm on level 3 day 9. I've been taking rest days (doing some walking instead) when i need a break :) i have no idea how much weight i've lost, cos i'm just taking measurements, but it's definately paying off. And for those of you struggling with level 2, level 3 IS easier!

I'm on L2Day8 and i LOVE it! I did not like working out, and now i feel frustrated on days when i can't! I was also super unfit, struggled through the first few days of each level and have noticed that they get increasinly easier. I enjoy the challenge, i like how it's under 30 mins yet still feels like a tough workout and…

I've just completed L2D6 - im finding it does get easier :)
