I buy Oberto's Bacon Jerky on occasion at Walmart (by checkout with all the other jerky). Like frob23, I use it as an emergency snack.

I LOVE this thread, thank you all for all the wonderful food suggestions! I really don't have anything to offer as my diet doesn't have much of a variety. Hoping to make some new foods now! :D

I make a green drink daily, 1 1/2 C. Spinach or 1/2 Spinach 1/2 Kale, 1/4 C. Blueberry, 1 C. Unsweetened Almond/Coconut Milk, 3/4 tsp Cinnamon, 1 scoop of Low Carb Vanilla Whey Protein and water to fill rest of blender. It's tasty, I have it for breakfast and there is enough left to drink as afternoon snack!

This is true, but my Dr. said that hormones and thyroid issues has kept me from losing the weight and once those are back to normal, I can lose the weight and not be struggling so much. Trust me, I thought I should of made it to my goal...just hope I can be an encouragement to others who are struggling out there! [/quote]…

I'm glad we have an expert here! I normally wouldn't respond to a post like this but this post hit me wrong! Sorry, I would have to disagree, you get motivation and support by being social on a site such as this! If you don't believe there is anythig social about it, it's all science - why are you on a social fitness site?

49 here, feel free to add me! Love MFP!
