So I like to make tuna mixed with some red wine vinegar, white beans, and spicy giardiniera - you can also add some chopped onions if you'd like, and then I like to eat it with some crackers (or right out of the bowl!)

Something with a lower alcohol content will have fewer calories, but that's no fun so just enjoy in moderation! http://www.annecollins.com/calories/calories-wine.htm

I'm in! But my summer doesn't start until June 9th, and then I'll be working full time. But I'm still up for the challenge! Not having the urge to do a bunch of stress eating will be really really nice

I'm on loestrin FE and have been for over a year now -- they said it's not supposed to cause weight gain but I definitely noticed a couple extra pounds when I first started it. Don't panic.

I had this problem, but then I invested in a better scale and it's super accurate. Over $100, but at least I can trust it. I asked for it for Christmas, hahaha

You're losing weight now, like you said, but the second you start eating like a normal person again you will gain MORE than you lost. If you intend to continue to starve yourself like this forever, you're probably not going to be around very long. It's not maintainable. Wouldn't you rather lose weight and keep it off? When…

I don't have a cure for the cravings (although I really wish I did...) but I do know crunches / sit-ups help with cramps big time, especially ones that target your obliques.

So nothings wrong with truvia (yet)? Is it implying that it just too new?

Not sure if you've ever tried them, but I've recently become a huge fan of boca burgers. You pop em in the microwave if you want them fast, or you can cook them in a pan (which is what I usually do) and they're done. Super easy, super good for you (they're made from black beans). I was hesitant to try something labeled…

Those are so delicious! I was so sad when I found this out  I'm a big fan of their passion fruit iced tea though when I'm going there looking for something that's not going to kill my calorie count for the day. Unsweetened is very few calories, but I usually like to add a splenda or two...

Before. You probably will be a little lighter after, but it will only be the water you sweat out during your run.

Between the heat in the room and the specific series of postures you do it keeps your heartrate going -- Bikram was actually on the Today Show yesterday, here's the link to the video: http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/42763279#42763279

They had an Intervention episode on a woman who worked out for like 10 hours a day every day. I'd say that was too much. She never stopped walking on her treadmill!

I'm 5'10" and currently at 158. The lowest I had ever been was 138 and I was pretty much starving myself, not to mention it was in high school and I was on the swim team and in the pool for 3 hours a day, which is not really what I want to do now. Clearly 138 was not a maintainable weight for me, but I think I can achieve…

Totally lame. But I didn't want him to win anyways, so it's all good. I really want Hannah to win!!

Feel free to add me

I tend to bring small meal/snacks around with me so I can eat throughout the day. For example, I'll pack a baggie of dry cereal, baby carrots, an orange or apple or container of berries, yogurt, etc. and eat during class (not all teachers are ok with it, so be careful). I also have back to back to back classes (no breaks…

Bump! This sounds delicious =D

The way MFP calculates the calories you need in a day calories needed for digestion are factored in already, so that although it may technically work out to "negative calories" this is already accounted for.

I've tried eggplant hummus before but it came out pretty awful, haha. I'll have to try the roasted red pepper, though! Thanks for the tip

Yep, it's tahini, they had it at jewel, and I know that you can make your own too if you can't find it in stores

I've read a lot of research that it doesn't matter what kind of tea you drink (black tea, white tea, red tea, green tea, etc) they all will give you the same benefits, but green tea DOES have higher levels of EGCG. Green tea doesn't always have the best flavor, so I like anything that has a little something extra in it --…

Feel free to add me! The community on this site is awesome. I've done a lot of yo-yo dieting over the past few years and this is the first time I feel like I'm getting results the RIGHT way! Good luck

Nope, water only -- tea usually has caffeine which dehydrates you, and fruit juice is usually loaded with sugar and calories.

Easter dinner (including appetizers and drinks) was 1700 calories =( that was way too easy to eat!
-
You might be dehydrated? I get headaches when I work out hard sometimes, and it's usually when I don't drink enough water. Maybe try drinking before and while you're working out. Not sure this will help, but it might!

I was subjected to two easter dinners on Sunday (my family and my boyfriend's family)... and let's just say, my mother cooks like Paula Deen -- everything's main ingredient is butter.... it wasn't pretty

Welcome to MFP!

Does it taste any different if you use cooked vs. raw spinach? I've never done a spinach smoothie before!

I like to do the pre-programmed interval training on the elliptical. I go 2 minutes hard and two minutes medium-hard, trying to keep the same speed but on a higher resistance. This way, you get cardio and some strengthening. I have done the sprinting intervals that you are talking about, and when i do those i try to do a…
