If your body can handle it and you enjoy it, why not? I love a good two hour workout. I wouldn't pressure myself to do that everyday, though

I found, when I was breastfeeding, those sugar cravings are fairly primal. I tried to curb them, with varying degrees of success, but try to be patient, eventually it settles down (in my case, after two and half years, when she weaned herself!) Breastfeeding mums do have extra nutritional needs, so perhaps seeing a…

Haha, go for it

I don't think I've ever looked at anyone's food diaries. I couldn't give two squirts of piss what is in someone else's diary.

Because I don't log anything most of the time. Because, if I do log something, it's my business what I eat, and I don't want to waste my precious time reading messages from people telling me what they think I should be eating (hasn't happened to me, but has happened to many others). I'm not afraid of anyone's judgement,…

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends what's wrong with me. Sometimes a good workout will make me feel better, but I can usually tell if I can't handle a workout and I sit it out. Also, sometimes I just reduce the intensity and have an easy workout. I haven't worked out for a few days due to sickness and I feel like crap

Boom! Agree. I don't see it as something worth sticking with, that's for sure. I'm sure different people will have different opinions on whether or not cutting carbs is healthy or not. I believe (obviously), that unless there is a good reason, it's a stupid thing to do for your health. Don't like my links? Fine. That's…

OP, there's no need to go to extremes like drastically reducing carbs. We need every food group in moderate amounts, and drastic cutting like this can be terrible for your health. I think it's healthier and more pleasant to enjoy a full variety of foods (unless there's a good reason to monitor carbs, of course)

I really thought this was my thread until I read it

Well, it's funny what happens when you get talking about this stuff:P I ended up tracking today, because I wanted to eat some dark chocolate and look at the iron content. Seems to be going ok today with the tracking. We'll see if it continues or not :)

You lost weight this week. You didn't gain, you didn't stay the same, you made progress, despite being sick. That is a good thing. Maybe you rested more during the sickness? Understandable
-
Yeah, I'm not too bad at the moment, I'm just trying to be careful about introducing new exercise, so I don't end up bed ridden again, lol! That's what'll put more weight on in the end!

I'm so glad I asked about this, it's making me realise different people respond to different ways of approaching things. Sounds like it's working! I have the injury regain stuff I'm dealing with at the moment too, injuries suck!
-
That's the important thing: you kept on going and didn't give up because of it. See? You're already making progress!
-
I'd love to hear how it goes!
-
Great job!
-
I love this site, too :) Good luck with your goals!
-
Awesome!
-
I think that's definitely possible :) Good luck with your weight gain! Great job!
-
I think this might be me as well.

This!

Your friend is right.

I'm not a clean eater, but my body can definitely tell the difference between a banana and a donut (mostly in how hard it hits my stomach!). Calories aren't the be all and end all. I eat both bananas and donuts, but I don't eat donuts very often.

I'm so glad to see you're still going :) I have three kids, and stopped breastfeeding two of them early on due to certain problems we were having with breastfeeding. My youngest, I fed til two and a half and let her self wean. I think if it's going so well, it's nice to stick with it. It can slow down weight loss somewhat,…

I'm wondering if that's the case for me, too? Sometimes I see how much others are tracking, and weighing their food as well, and wonder if I should be doing more with it? But I think I'm a bit like you, and maybe that's why it doesn't work as well for me? I have lost weight the past few weeks. A few years ago, I joined…

So true!

I do like the graphs :)

Fair enough. Different things work for different people :) It's funny; I find I eat slightly better and lose weight more steadily when I don't track as much. I have no explanation for why that is, except maybe it makes a difference mentally for me?
