Weekend with monthly left me with no resolve.... 12 days clean. Now back to day 1. I can and will get to 21!

My week went great! I was in my calorie range- I had a week of clean eating where I ate little to no sugar. I exercised- walked at lunch, lifted weights, did some spinning! But then the weekend happened. And it was was horrid. Because of it, my weigh in today was the same as last. Really stinks when you work really really…

Having a fabulous week! Yesterday I had both lunch and dinner out and I was able to choose good healthy meals and stay within my calorie range.

Thanks for posting this! I am heading into this time, and I really don't want to derail my efforts from the last couple of weeks! I'll plan on getting some yogurt in the cupboard.

Day 4 of the challenge and 11 days of pretty clean eating. Things are going well. But I can see on my calendar that it is going to take a turn as my monthly is due. Any suggestions out there?

My favorite dessert replacement is cottage cheese with grapes and a few walnuts. Or natural apple sauce and some pineapple. When I am eating clean, it is as good as ice cream!

Day 1 done. I had no problems until bedtime when I started to feel deprived about not being able to have junk for a whole month. What is up with that?!? Its not like I won't be able to have it for the rest of my life!

Gretchen- Could we add our height to the spreadsheet? That way we can compare people who are similar in size? Thanks!

Offical Day 1... but I've had a whole week of clean eating! Just need to keep the momentum going! I thought about having some sort of sugar last night but decide, why? I've been so good all week, I can go 28 days!

Whenever you change your eating habits, your body is going to react. Especially if you've been on a diet full of processed foods and a lot of grains. It is like an addiction. Give it a couple of days.

Gretchen... so tonight I did 35 minutes on my stationary bike... I did 20 bike miles.. so I convert my stationary bike miles into walking miles which would be 5 or 6 or do I say I did 20 miles on the bike, so I get 20 towards the goal of 175?

Just want to make sure that I'm in! A week in to cleaning up my diet, and it is going good... but normally, my motivation tanks after the first 4 days! This is the type of challenge I need to keep me motivated!
