of course not, but wouldn't you like to know that it is a possibility? I certainly had no idea at the time that it happened to me, because I thought that I was unaffected by it. I had been unaffected for 20 years.

Tall glass of water and a TOGO's turkey and avocado sammich would always make me feel better. That was back when I drank a lot and still ate meat. I haven't experimented enough since turning into a vegetarian to give you a more recent solution. Good luck!

I am thanks!!! I think that it was the kind of thing that crept up on me. I was tolerant for a good 20 years drinking 5-6 cups a day, like you, but then I think that I turned 40 and my body had had enough. A friend of mine had the exact same thing happen to him around the same age. :) sux getting older

Coffee isn't good for everyone. If you can handle it, go for it. But keep your eye out for side effects. The caffeine builds up in your system, you might think that your sleeping problem isn't caffeine related because you don't have coffee after 10:00 a.m., but that might not be the case. It wasn't for me. When I had to…

I am glad that the doctors were wrong! and I am curious how your husband reacted that you are asking the question. When my father was told he was going to die, we moved in to the hospice to spend as much time as we could with him and make sure that he was comfortable. It was rough, but the staff didn't mind having extra…

HEY! as a borderline high cholesterol person, I thought I would check out the study... I didn't get there but found this: "One note of caution: Among women in this study with diabetes and in another study of men with diabetes, higher egg consumption has been associated with increased risks of heart disease" on the Harvard…

I have never heard that. I think that it is wise to read the room though. You always want to be aware of the crowd you are with and the context. Have only a drink or two at a company function or cocktail party. Have a couple of shots of whiskey and a couple of beers at a rock show. If you aren't around people that you…

level 1 - day 8 done.... didn't get new weights yet... still thinking about it. Yesterday when I worked out in a tank top, all I could see was my belly shaking. It was depressing, but something I was glad that I saw in a face the music sort of way. Today, I wore a baggy t-shirt and noticed a thigh muscle while I was doing…

highly processed soy product... no thanks! I used to eat them though. While I was transitioning off meat, they were a reasonable substitute... not super delicious, but okay with all the fixin's
