  • Hello everyone. Today my new job role was made official and I lost 5lbs. Its been a hard five months but its great to see some stability.
  • Hello everyone. I'm one of those people who leave and come back to MFP. I don't think I'll ever learn. I always plan to do something when New Year comes round in regards to my fitness and I have been to the gym and prepared some lunches for the week ahead. Sadly, 2015 ended on a low when my father passed away unexpectedly…
  • Thanks mate - it was a nice surprise, just seem to have put in an extra hour a day since!
  • I was taken into an office to be told that I have been promoted which is fantastic news. Though I then find that I have worked through my lunch and caught in the office for an extra hour. A bit of better planning from now on methinks! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
  • Hello everyone I have been away for a while, but started again properly at the start of the week. About two months ago I got a pain in my knee and I have been seeing a sadist (or physiotherapist for their official name) who has made me feel pain like I have never felt before. So, getting back on track, I have been going…
  • Have a ball mate :)
  • Nottingham, England - nobody has taken from the rich to give to me yet!
  • I gave the spiral/cylinder thing a go to add to my salad at lunch and instead of having these amazing strands of carrots, I end up with a crushed mush at the bottom of it!! :o
  • Hello everyone and I hope you are all doing well :) I have been away from it over the last week - I had an injury from the gym and rested for the week and put on 1/4 of a pound which is really good considering I was out Friday and Saturday nights. Today saw me back at the gym - I find cardio a great stress relief,…
  • Hello everyone I have been bad - I can't say no to a few beers and had a great couple of days with friends celebrating birthdays. Today being Mothering Sunday here in the UK, we went out with the mother-in-law (did you know an anagram of mother-in-law is woman Hitler?) and had a carvery. No pudding though. Getting ready…

  • Hello everyone I thought it would be a great idea to hit the gym at 7am this morning, so up at 5:30, hit the gym with the trainer at 7 and had a great day at work where I was on it and got loads done. Weigh in tomorrow, everyone have a great day! (Great idea for a post electriq!).

  • Luton lad now living in Nottingham - Nice to see so many people here from our green and pleasant land :) I use the site every day and try to eat a new dinner at least once a week. Feel free to add and all the best to everyone.
  • By setting your weight loss goal, your daily goal is going to be lower than the maintain amount. Therefore, you do have that buffer zone. Red means buffer. You have to eat a lot more to put on!
  • I have a further 38lbs to loose (just under 4 stone in total). I know what its like to move to a new town! I was down for Christmas for a couple of days, but didn't really venture out. Maybe show your boyfriend the site (just the food logging) and this may spur him on to help you with your aims!
  • I live in Nottingham and have given up smoking as well - fair play. Nice to see so many people here! Good luck everyone.
  • Hello Jen Congratulations on joining this site. I've been a member for a few weeks now but never really paid any attention to the message boards. I notice you're from Luton. I was born and lived there for years but moved up North. I remember forcing myself to do 50 length at Bath Road three times a week but never really…
