I run on the street or trail because the side walk is uneven, ends sometimes and turns into grass, goes up and down for driveways...etc. The asphalt as also sofrt on my joints, If i run on streets I do it in a residential neighborhood not a high traffic one.

I use it instead of butter on most things. Cooking at high tempatures it tends to burn. It is great on toast. I use it on my legs too :)

This really sounds like a look at me I am starving myself and need attnention post. If it is not, eat a well balanced meal with proteins fats and carbs. Avocados and nuts are good fats. A PB and J sandwich is what we used to give people recovering insulin shock when I was an EMT. It has carbs and protein in it.

It has gotten progressivley worse. Most military people already drink a lot, stack on that that I am very social and live in a drinking town with a fishing problem.....On my days off I drink everynight. I just went to see a dietician who said I am putting my body in "starvation mode" when I go from night shift to day shift and only eat 800 calories sometimes because I am only up for 8 hours. Also, she said eating at irregular times puts the body in starvation mode. I didn't know what to say.think.

You are already eating at your minnimum and if you don't want to build muscle I am not sure how you can. Maybe adjust your macos a bit for more protein less carbs and eat at 1500.
