I've been enjoying outdoor winter runs... but just yesterday, I slipped on some ice just as I was hitting my stride in front of my house... be careful! (Skinned knee grade: Retro.)

Take a baggie of almonds with you. Anytime you're tempted... eat a couple.
-
Fruit and nuts! If you go to some larger grocery stores, they typically have a huge variety of fruit&nut mixes... I usually go on sunday and pick up about three different kinds, taking a different one to work each day.

Me. Today. That is all.

All this PopTart talk made me hungry for... PopTarts. Strawberry Frosted. I had one and my dad had one after dinner... all your fault lol

I think the general concensus on MFP is that if you are using the caloric goal they set for you automatically, then you should 'eat back' your exercise calories as there is already a deficit built in.

I agree. I increase my runs by a block each week. So every sunday... I add another block to my outdoor running route-- then during the week I work on increasing my pace. We all (re)start somewhere... so as long as you are running longer/faster/stronger than you were when you started, then you are making progress.

New day today. New day every day.

I like outdoors better, for one, I like to be outside... but aside from that, I like that I can speed up or slow down whenever I want for as long as I want without waiting for the machine to catch up. I also have more productive runs outside because I'm more likely to push myself if I'm actually running towards something.

I'm trying to lose 50 lb by summer.

This happened to me when I at Qdoba a couple of weeks ago. I think at some point your stomach/body just gets used to you eating smaller, healthier meals-- and when you upset that pattern by eating more, less healthy... just generally "heavier" foods, your body gets upset and tries to get back to the healthier state.

Hi! My weight Jan 21 was 192.2 I'm hoping to lose [at least] 20 lb by summer. :)

Not related to weight loss but... I was in a Saturday morning bowling leagues from 2nd grade through Senior year... I started wearing glasses my freshman year of high school... and my average jumped 10 pins. :o

Same boat.

On the occasion that I do get all 8 cups in... I pee like a racehorse lol. Sorry if that's TMI, but it's the truth.

It wasn't really a concert... but in college a friend and I went to see Jonas Brothers in 3D-- we were 22. There were other people our age... but most of the had a child with them. I went to college in a farm town... the things we did for fun...

Today is a new day. Good job.

I don't think shaming is the solution-- but coddling certainly isn't either. Too big to fit in your chair at the ballgame, on the plane or on the train? Then you'll have to buy another. We're not going to just give you one. In stores-- lets make those scooters available only for those who are injured or elderly. If you're…

I'm a little bit ahead of you but on the same track-- I try to make it a point to try on at least one thing taht I cannot imagine myself wearing every time I go shopping... then, if it fits and flatters, I buy it. Slowly but surley my tomboy style has moved into a the style of a 26 year old, young professional, sometimes…

True, but in person... none of this online business.. yet. Next person is a Packer fan.

Between Nutella and Garlic Salt... you have something to add to ANY food. Learned that at my summer camp... have taken both things backpacking and sent them overseas to military friends several times! When the question is: " You know what would go good on this?!" The answers is always either: "Nutella!" or "Garlic Salt!"…

Awesome job! The mental change assists the physical and vice versa-- now keep that momentum!

You know how school buses have to stop before railroad tracks to listen? I always thought they stopped ON the tracks... I was very confused as to why they wouldn't just drive right through instead of stopping on the tracks to listen.

I'm in!

I'm so excited to make this happen!

Similar goals here too!

@Ninja Close, I think I was about 185 when this picture was taken.

It sounds silly... but I spend about 90% of my internet time on MyFitnessPal, reading about food/fitness ideas ans success stories... keeps me motivated.

Totall was going to guess that. For the guy in your picture kimsab1... um... 40 lb?
