Let's be honest here, MFP is trying to coddle anorexics and make sure they are not being tempted by seeing how tiny they will be in 5 weeks-- --But, we're all adults here let's not throw everyone else off just to coddle someone. Maybe of someone has multiple days in a row, they should get a warning to seek psychological…

Same situation-- but I feel better and m clothing fits better... take those non-scale victories and run with them (no pun intended!) ;)

Thank you!

Really the best thing to do would be to ask your doctor what you should be eating to lose weight and what you could be eating to maintain your weight. Then adjust from there as needed.

Is anyone still around who wants to play tennis?
-
Just eat it when you feel like it and then when it's gone, it's gone.

I'm not sure what's specific to PCOS... but I've lost 8 lb since the middle of February... here is what I'm taking: Once a week: Magnesium Vitamin D Fish Oil Iron B6 Total Energy Whole Food Multi-Vitamin Cinnamon (not tablet... just the Ceylon Cinnamon in powder form) ...and my doctor just gave me a B12 injection.

Eat raw, non-processed foods. Drink lots and lots of water. Best cleanse/flush ever.

Thanks for the replles. I know water weight plays a role... its just that usually when I eat like crap it shows up the next morning. I officially weigh in once a week... was just curious this morning.

I have a friend who does this. I've been slowly cutting her out of my life. Without my personality and conversation skills to help us meet guys, she ends up at the bar... alone. She might have little bit on me in looks... but I sure as hell have a much better personality.

Estradiol levels are low while you are mensturating and increase from there. I think PCOS sometimes causes low estriadol because it causes you to be anovulatory -> no follicles -> nothing to produce additional estrogen.

I would also talk to your doctor about the potential for complications the longer you wait. Ask her/him what's the latest window they would recommend.

I do yoga every friday. At least twice a week I also do Body Flow, which is a mix of yoga, pilates and tai chi.

The custard place just through the park from my house. Been a 'regular' there since my neighbors and I were old enough to be riding our bikes around the neighborhood... yum.

You can add me... 26 y/o 5'4" Highest wt 200 SW 194 CW 190 GW 145 No kids for another 2-5 years

That reminds me. The police said they needed to talk to me... they said "anything you say can and will be held against you" so I said... "Channing Tatum".

Body Flow is a mix of Yoga, Pilates & Tai Chi & Combat is cardio-based martial arts. I also tried BodyVive and Body Pump but just couldn't get into them.
-
Body Flow! I want to get into Body Combat this spring too.

I'm seeing my doc Friday... I'll ask her and report back. :) Best wishes to you as well!

Glad to know I'm not alone. I hadn't connected it to the insulin affects... makes sense.

Ha! Nice.

I don't get meat sweats either... but here is a little blurb about them: "Regardless, it is hypothesized that the combination of increasing amounts of adrenaline and protein cause the body to increase in temperature and subsequently cause an eater to sweat... " http://www.foodrepublic.com/2011/07/13/what-causes-meat-sweats…

I'm in this boat... though not TCC... yet. Need to find some other vital parts of that equation first lol. But I'm trying to lose the weight to keep it in check so that in 2-5 years, when I am ready... all will go smoothly. :)

Research the food that's tempting you. Understand why it is bad for you. Knowing that can dampen the temptation and help you make better choices.
-
I would workout and make sure you do some strength training before you go so your bmr is up. Then just enjoy the experience (food included)... once in a lifetime trips are worth the couple of lbs you can burn off later!
-
Oh yeah-- also, find some mind/body practice to get involved with. Physically and mentally relaxing.

Today is a new day.

1. Keep an eye on what you are eating drinking. Blood sugar & caffine swings can worsen anxiety. Try to focus on low glycemic foods, which reduce the blood sugar swing. 2. A counselor told me one thing once that has helped me with anxiety every day since. Each time you come to a trigger, something that makes you worry...…

I jsut googled your premise and understand what you are saying! Mostly, from this one: https://www.marksdailyapple.com/coffee-and-insulin-fat-and-post-workout-meals/ I guess caffine is often listed as something to reduce or eliminate.

Thanks. Interesting article. I guess I just found it odd because I don't drink coffee or soda, so my caffine is near zero... but I was concerned about the addition of caffine via Green Tea...
