Start with a run around the block. When you can do that, and not feel like you're going to die... add another block. And so on.

I put it under exercise.

I have Vitamin D deficiency-- and have a perscription for 50,000 IU (international units) which I take monthly. My dad has the same perscription but takes it twice a month. I definitely notice a difference.

40% Fat, 30% Carbs, 30% Protien... I especially watch my carbs and sugar. Carbs and sugar lead to glucose/insulin spikes-- which I try to avoid.

Im sorry for your loss. Sometimes the kindest, gentlest thing we can do for our pets is put an end to their suffering. Know that he will be waiting for you, when you get where you're going. The pain of loss will subside, but the pawprints on your heart will never fade away. "Just this side of heaven is a place called…

It occurred to me the other day that being self concious in zumba is of no use. Everyone else is so busy thinking about how they look and how they are moving that they are too busy to worry about what you are doing. Get out and dance!

When I miss a workout, I watch/do the 30 day shred video on youtube and call it good... it's not ideal, but it's something. If nothing else, get out and run around the block a few times-- takes 15 minutes and gets your heart going.

It might be cheating a little bit... but I (officially) weigh myself on Monday-- but I do it once in the morning and once before I go to bed and take the lowest number.

Is thre anywhere you can go to swim? Swimming uses a lot of different muscles in different combinations than usual. When I swim, I follow this pattern and it turns into a pretty good workout: 7 laps of freestyle 7 backstroke 7 breast stroke 7 free 2 underwater (just for fun... swim as far as you can without taking a breath)

Like a day hike? Or a two week galivant through the wilderness? A day hike I would imagine not more than a couple Nalgenes of water, a rain jacket and some trail mix... actually backpacking, I've taken as much as 30 lb of gear (too much!)

I would not give the gift. Sends mixed signals. Maybe old on to it for a while, and if at some point in a given time frame (you choose... weeks, months, 1 year) she reaches out to you-- then maybe see if things have changed. If you feel like it then-- you can give her the gift.

This. This is my understanding as well.

I rode as a child and am thinking of starting up again this spring.

Great job.

Start going to bed at the same time every night (a time tha allows you 8 hours of sleep)... slowly but surely your body will adjust and start getting up at the end of a rem cycle (probably prior to hitting 8 hour mark) and you should feel refreshed and ready to exercise.

Might be TMI but... I just showered after my run... and was just thinking it's getting easier to reach around and shave the back/underside of my thigh standing up...
