7 days in Germany this summer... what shouldn't I miss??

EstroDIM
Has anyone here tried EstroDIM by OrthoMolecular? My doctor told me to try it as it helps the body metabolize estrogen, which in turn can help with PCOS and weight loss.

Exercise after head injury
Last week Sunday I sustained a concussion... it was mild (the doctor said based on the physical exam she could tell I had hit my head but didn't feel there was need for futher testing). I asked her when I could start working out again and she told me to give it a week. Tomorrow will be a week-- but I still have a mild…

Carb / Sugar Goals
I am pre-diabetic and have been told to watch my carb and sugar macros... I was just wondering what others use as goals for these values. I am 5'4" and weigh 185 lbs. Attempting to lose. I was trying to stay under 100 carbs and 50 sugars.

1200 Net?
When we say 1200 calories are bad... are we saying 1200 net is an unhealthy goal? Or people who eat 1200 gross and exercise but don't eat anything back. I am 5'4", 189 lbs... when I said I wanted to lose 2 lbs a week... MFP put me at 1220 calories... (?)

What ONE food habit... would you go back in time to stop.
So I know it's never just one particular food, activity or lack thereof that contribute to weight gain... but what ONE food habit do you look back on, pinpoint it's beginning and wish you could go back in time to stop? For me... 12th grade, I developed a habit of eating a pack of Pop Tarts or an Otis Spunkemeyer Bananna…

Can someone please explain this to me? (Scale anomaly)
So I ate very well all week -- nutritious and within calories and macros. (Generally: lower carb, lower sugar.) I worked out ever night. Yesterday morning... before my doctor appointment, I weighed in at 187.8. Yesterday, I went to yoga in the morning and zumba after work (just 1/2 hour cause I wasn't feeling it)... And…

"Carb sweats"?!
So, you know how people get "meat sweats" when they eat a lot of meat... I get "carb sweats" when I eat too many carbs in one sitting. Anybody else?

Green Tea & Insulin Resistnace/PCOS
So... here's a contradition. I am insulin resistant and subclinically have PCOS. My doctor told me to drink green tea. Every article I've ever read has talked about reducing caffine consumption and then in the next breath mentioned drinking green tea. It is my understanding that green tea increases insulin sensitivity and…

Can I Still Join?
Nevermind. Apparently I can't read today. My brain is fried. For some reason I had it in my head that you guys did Monday weigh-ins. Hi, I am wondering if I can still join the spreadsheet. I've been a member of the group for a while, but fell off the wagon-- I've been weighing in every Monday but just not not on the group.…

Calorie Surplus
So at the end of the day, I'll have only eaten about 1300 calories (I pre-entered dinner). I am really not hungry and have already reached my sugar limit for the day. Is it OK to be at a deficit from time to time as long as I don't consistently stay at 1300 calories?

Zumba
How do you log zumba sans HRM? I thought there was a "hip hop dance" in the database at one point but now can't find it.

Standing Desk
Thinking about setting up my workspace so I stand all day at work... thoughts? Anyone do this or want to do this?

NSV - No More Muffin Top
1. This shirt used to be really tight, pulling in around my underarm and puffing out to accommodate my muffin top. 2. That line... that goes direct from my underarm, out around my hips and down my leg. :) SW: 195.6 (January 1) CW: 191.8 GW: 145

Proud Food Diary Days
Do you have a Food Diary Day you're particularly proud of? Show us! Here is mine... (As an aside, I know you can simply open up your diary-- but it's kind of tedious to have to click back back back back back through to see one specific day.)

[Women] Lifting Weights
Hi! Questions for those of you who include weight lifting as part of your fitness routine-- to tone up, not bulk up: Which machines do you include in your circuits? How many sets/reps of each? How often do you do this and is it on the same days as your cardio? I'm 5'4", 192.2, but was pretty muscl-y and toned growing up--…

I'm 26, looking to make 2013 my year
Hi, I need friends on here. I'm looking to lose 56 lbs for health and confidence reasons. Please add me, I need motivation-- I'll reciprocate. I've tried MFP on my own with no success... I'm 26, looking to make 2013 my year. Heather

26 years old, "pre-diabetic" -- gotta do this!
Hi, I've been on and off MFP for years-- but have never come to the forums. My doctor ran a whole lot of labs and said that I was "pre-diabetic" and showing labwork signs of PCOS-- but that the progrerssion of both of those things could be halted by significant weight loss. Right now I'm 195.6 lbs, 5'4"... I'm not actually…
