It just goes to show you that it is never too late to change your life and achieve personal weight loss goals! Excellent, job, nicely shared and made me cry! Woww....so amazing so amazing!

Most likely will need surgery due to rapid weight loss...check with your doctor.

I have given up refined sugars completely. It was hard the first couple of weeks, but now, I just take it one day at a time. It has given me a calorie deficit - no cupcakes, no candy, no processed foods (most have sugar), no cakes, no puddings, no kind bars (sugar is the second ingredient), no pastries, just say "NO" to…

Did you talk to the women? Communicate your concerns about the lanes and get over the hair! LOL

Well....it depends on you, MFP says healthy weight loss is 1-2lbs per week. depending on your calorie deficit, metabolism and what you set your goal in MFP to it could be 30 weeks, 60 weeks or less if you eat less.. Sounds like you exercise a lot already so you just need to track calories and stay close to your daily limit…

How often do you lift?

I just discovered interval weight training. My PT says just MOVE and nothing is bad! but, free weights combined with interval cardio has really increased my metabolism. I do cardio 3x per week and weight intervals 2x per week trying to get to 3 I haven't lost weight but I have definitely gained muscle and feel stronger all…

I would be happy if I could continue to follow Bob Harpers Skinny Rules: http://infographicaday.com/wp-content/uploads/Bob-Harpers-The-Skinny-Rules.jpg

All I got to say is MOVE IT, LIFT IT and ENJOY it...

what did you set your goals to be on MFP? When you weigh more you can eat more. If you are working out 40 minutes a day and only eating 1000 calories it is not enough. You probably will also gain muscle which weighs more... Weight loss is a one day at a time thing for me and I have a lot to lose...I am 290 and started…

All I know is that I sweat more doing strength training than anything else ... elliptical, water aerobics, ski machine, treadmill... so...it must be burning something... :0)
-
It all depends on how much you ate...I log everything, even bad days, otherwise, it is toooooo easy to forget!

I had a moment of weakness - bought fries and a ****s deluxe burger. Walked out of the fast food place and was thinking do I really need this? no, do I really want this? Yes... Looked up and saw a bum who probably didn't need it either but gave all of it away. He was more interested in money but took it anyways... LOL…

Hi You can find good deals on chlorine resistant swimwear online at swimoutlet.com or ebay if you know your size. If you want to protect your hair, put conditioner on and get a swim cap. It is also an excellent idea to buy some good water aerobic shoes and gloves for more resistance in the water. You can build your core,…

AWESOME! funny how the smaller you get the smaller you wanna get! Good job..:flowerforyou:

If you are a beginner, you should start slow. I usually alternate cardio with strength training. On the days I lift weights, I only do ten-twenty minutes to warm up. I think it is fine to rest if your body is telling you to rest. Have you ever tried water aerobics? Great low impact work out on days that you may feel like…

As you lose your calories go down to lose the weight at the same pace..so sad but true..takes less of you to need less energy!

I think that it is the same as discrimination for being disabled. Just because you are overweight, doesn't equate to poor job performance. Just as someone in a wheelchair could perform a job equally as someone who is able bodied. Life sucks, but unfortunately, overweight people have a lot of stigmas directed at them. In…

for the cost of a treadmill you could join a gym for two years... Just sayin'...lots more variety too!

I talked to my personal trainer and he said that the calories on the machines are off about 20%. My fitness pal seems way overstated in the number of calories burned. I haven't done much research about it on line though. Maybe I should. For my exercise log I adjust it to what the machines say I burned for my weight and…

During a nutrition class I took, my instructor said that the greatest thing about strength training is that it affects metabolism in a different way than cardio. I have noticed that even though I don't burn as many "calories" my metabolism seems to increase. I definitely notice a difference when I do strength training…

I add fat free Tillimok sourcream to this salad... I call it dog food salad which my husband hates: Mixed green salad Red Cabbage Carrots green onions celery 1/4 cup shredded cheese (or not) 4 oz ground trader joes turkey meat cooked (I usually by one pound of ground turkey and fry in a non stick skillet and make four…
