You are not consuming enough calories. How many calories does mfp recommend you eat per day to lose 1 lb per week.
-
Do you have myp set up to lose 2 lbs a week? Are you nursing? 1 lb per week lose is incredible! Don't get discouraged by being impatient. You're doing a great job!

I almostcried looking at your photos, congratulations.

Hi, I started mfp Jan 2013 at 219 lbs with a 1 year goal of 170. I am a probation officer so I sit a lot. I lost 35 lbs within 6-8 months w/o exercise (around 1400 calories per day) and since then has been mainly maintaining around 185. I've started doing a little exercise (some squats, lunges, push ups) this month. No new…

This.

I agree with this; you should be seeking the advise of a physician / expert.

Have a wonderful birthday and be safe!

I will be 44 on Sunday and began mfp on 1/7/2013. I have greatly reduced my caloric intake because I am now aware of my intake based on logging in on mfp. I have reduced the amount of processed foods I eat and starting this week my goals include exercising. I work full time and my husband and I have a 10 year old son. Good…

Good evening, I'd love to join you guys on your Valentine's Day Challenge.
-
Congratulations on your loss and your exercise goals. I am so impressed. Do you have a physician? I would recommend speaking to him/her about your concerns. Good luck!
-
I agree and beautiful mask.
-
You don't have to. I lost 37 lbs in 2013 but my goal was 50. I might have lost 50 if I had exercised.
-
I'd like to join please. I want to work on exercising 2-3x/wk; eating a fruit every day and lowering the amount of processed food I eat. I'm sure my husband would love it if I added do housework/cook every day. Thank you.

5 months and 50 lbs - wonderful!

Hi all, I'll be 44 on 1/5 and began mfp last year on 1/7. I've lost 37 lbs (though resting at 32 now). I work full-time and have a 10 year old son. My goal is to do better menu planning and start exercising regularly.

Happy birthday Andrea.:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

My plateau seems to have lasted as long as yours but 13 lbs from goal. I too hope to knuckle down and tone up in 2014.
-
What changes did you make to push through the plateau?

Thanks for nerdfitness info.

10 years ago I lost weight in anticipation of my first pregnancy. I switched from regular soda to diet soda and used the south beach diet adding breakfast to my day. I lost 17 lbs in 3-4 months and got pregnant right away. I only gained 18 lbs during my pregnancy (using small weights at home until my 7th month). Good luck.

Hi Bonnie, I am 43 and began 1/7/2013 at 219 lbs. I'm 5'6". I lost 37 lbs in abt 8 months (no exercise). Of course my weight fluctuates a bit (32 lbs now). I need to return to menu planning and add some exercise in the new year. I have found that monitoring my sodium and staying away from prepackaged foods (sodium) has…
-
Hi, I have not looked at your diary but are you logging your exercise? Are you then eating those calories back? Is sodium one of items you log and view every day? I found I began sustaining loses once I began paying attention to my sodium intake. Also eating fresher options rather then prepackaged really does make a big…

Welcome back. I've been here since 1/2013 and fluctuating between 32-37 lb lost (first 8 months). Gotta tighten up in the new year.
-
That's fantastic. My goal was 50 lbs by 1/6/2014 and I'm at 36. It's slowed so I don't think I'll get there but I'll be close. Congratulations!
-
I don't work out when I'm not on my period so no need to work out while I am
-
No. It's not possible.

LOVE IT!

I hated jeans too but now I've lost 35 lbs and am loving the jeans and my husband (and guys at work) are loving them too. I am 43, 5'6", 185 lbs and size 14 (17 in juniors) and my *kitten* looks great in them ;) My SIL has lost a lot of weight and gave me some that no longer fit. She is younger than I and the jeans are low…

I haven't reached maintenance yet but was happy to see it move from obese to overweight recently. How crazy is it when you are happy to see something report you are overweight - lol
