  • Doesn't sound unusual to me...I bounce up and down all week and past 2 weeks when I've lost it's been 2-3 lbs at one time. Hormones are hell.

  • 1200 in exercise and still only eat 1500 calories per day? That sounds dangerous. Have you shared that with your personnel trainer? I don't believe you'll be able to sustain that for very long and have the energy to keep going. Remember you are making life long changes. Edit - I see you have a nutritionist - good. Also…
  • You sound really determined. I am a female, 5'6" and started at 219. It's been just less than 5 months but I have lost 24 lbs eating 1500 calories a day and eating back any burned calories. Are you eating back the calories you burn during your work outs? Keep pressing forward but be patient with yourself. You'll do it;…
  • I have logged in every day since Jan 7. I started at 219 and I'm at 195. I eat around 1500 calories a day but almost no exercise. I'm not a big motivator, just doing my own thing so I may or may not respond to daily postings but I'm on here throughout the day. I went to a movie today; I only go a couple of times a year. I…
  • Originally from sharpesburg, nc (bet wilson & rocky mount in nash county); I have lived in Virginia since 1986
  • Yeah what they said; eat the extra calories and good luck
  • Yes log everything.
  • AMEN! (I was 219 and now 196)
  • I TOO WAS CONCERNED ABOUT YOU STATING THAT YOU WERE CONSTANTLY THIRSTY. Being constantly thirsty is a big sign of diabetes, you might want to get your glucose and A1C tested (I'm in the medical field, FYI). [/quote]
  • I try my best to stay on track on a daily basis but I have been a little low 2-3x this week and today I rewarded myself with a mexican lunch. I haven't had mexican since I started this in early January. So even though I will go over today no reason to freak b/c it'll all even out over the period of a week.
  • I too had real problems with the initial post. Reduce processed foods, don't use frozen foods as a substitute for a real meal and do eat more than 3x per day.
  • I love how the world shrinks when you connect on the internet.
  • This response would assume you are would assume you are working out but yes you can reach a plateau whether you are working out or not. 9 lbs in a little over a month sounds fabulous. Be patient. You didn't put it on that quickly; it won't come off that quickly either.
  • Hi I started here in January with people I met on-line as we planned for Oct/Nov Disney trips. Many have dropped off MFP though we still communicate via facebook. I started Jan 7 at 219 lbs and I have lost 23 lbs by following MFP recommendations and no exercise. My initial goal is 175 lbs. Feel free to friend me and good…
  • LMAO... I know my husband thinks a thigh gap is sexy as hell. Maybe one day I'll have one ;)
  • My mom and dad will diet together and he always loses faster than here. My husband will lose faster than me too. It's just body chemistry but so discouraging. Hang tough.
  • Hi from Virginia, USA. I've been on here since 1/7/13. I started at 219 lbs and I'm at 197 today. I love logging my food and am doing very little to no exercising at this time and still losing weight so it can be done. Good luck!
  • I am now weighing 197 lbs and wearing a size 14 pants at Dress Barn (not jeans...no always larger in jeans).
  • I turned 43 on 1/5 and began mfp on 1/7. I began at 219 lbs. My daily calorie goal is 1500. I am not exercising. I have lost 22 lbs thus far. My goal is 175 and then I will reevaluate.
  • We love geocaching. My dad is in his mid-60s and that's how I get him out with the grandkids. We are going to an Exploring the Outdoors event sponsored by PBS tomorrow and our local geocaching association will be there. I am updating my Geomate Jr's as I type.
  • Hi back. I've been on here for 3-1/2 months and it's made a big difference. I can now make knowledgeable decisions about what food I consume. Good luck!
  • You should not have a regular walking routine. You could be observed and not in a good way. If I were walking I would change the times, days, direction etc every day. Also if you are concerned don't worry about calling the non-emergency police number. You may not be the only one reporting suspicious behavior. Stay safe.
  • Exactly my thoughts. Too much processed foods; although low in calories not the best choices. I am looking at arm toning exercise I can do while sitting down. Perhaps looks at some of those options too. Good luck and thanks for sharing.
  • You look great and while I weigh a lot more than you I have lost 20 lbs in 3 months so you are really inspiring me. Also congrats on being a new mommy. That does a lot of your body and you've bounced back in no time.
  • Oh my goodness; I'm in love - great quote
  • I eat dessert every day but plan it in advance and watch the actual serving size. Tonight I had strawberries with a dessert shell (cake).
  • I was stuck during the month of March and now have lost a few pounds during the first week of April. I guess sometimes it just happens that way.
  • I was the same place you are 3 months ago and just lost 20 lbs and below 200 for the first time in years. You can do it too. Good luck!
  • HA! My 9 yr old was eating a store bought roll yesterday and said he was missing them from Golden Corral.
  • You didn't lose anymore weight but you were gaining muscle and becoming more toned. You look great. I started 95 days ago at 219 and have been stuck at 204 all March. I hit 201 today and will begin some light weight training. You're an inspiration.
