Well we did the 5K.... It was awesome! I think I may have caught the racing bug. :-D I came in at 30m 54s and Alicia was around 50min (we didn't do the competitive chip timer, so I'm going by the Nike App I had running). We're really looking forward to the September/October/November 3 race series in Wilmington!

There's the ZimmZumm 5K run in March in Jacksonville to help build a children's museum. Also coming up REALLY quick is a 5K run for ovarian cancer in Wilmington. I use active.com the most to find runs, but I find that it doesn't find everything that I need to find. Especially around here (Jacksonville).

I'm thinking of a food based challenge this time, but that seems a bit dull... We could do an overall Team weight loss goal! Lose 20 lbs in Eastern NC in March! :-D Care to weigh in on that weigh in? ;-)

Welcome, Melissa! Great job on your accomplishment so far! I completely understand the "I want to lose SO much!". I've found it helps to make step goals. 215, 210, 205, 200, etc, etc. Ever small step is a success that should be celebrated! :)
