Monthly Group Challenges
What are we thinking for starting our monthly group challenges? We could start with something like "Walk / Run / Jog 25 miles in February"? Or we could go food based... Thoughts? Edit: 1/31 - Since we seem to be good with the "Walk, Jog, Run! 25 miles" challenge for February, I've set up a Google Doc that you can access…

Personal Challenge
What is your next personal challenge? It can be an exercise challenge, a nutrition challenge or even a life goals challenge. For me, my next challenge is to get to a comfortable level running a 10k. I've only run that distance once and it was yesterday and I have some sort of chest congestion, but it was hard. I had to…

I found the site at: http://hundredpushups.com/#sthash.1jxhivut.dpbs I started last night on Week 1 in the "11 - 20" initial test column, since I was able to do 13 good form push-ups. It seems low to me, but I guess that's what this program is about! If you've tried it, please let me know! How…

When an achievement doesn't feel like it...
Here's the backstory... I began the C25K program back in October. Pushed through week by week and month by month until I "graduated" the program right before Christmas. I've been adding in time week by week and am now running 40 minutes straight and 4.1+ miles... So here's my dilemma... I don't feel like I've accomplished…

Where do you walk?
I'm in the Gumbranch area of Jacksonville. My wife and I are looking to start walking on Mondays during the day (we're off and the kids are in school). I've recently completed the "Couch to 5K" program and am looking forward to my first 5K in February! I didn't notice any "drop" in weight, so I'm trying it on here as well.…
