Hi ladies! Similar sutuation here -- was losing before I got pregnant, just had second baby 7 weeks ago via c-section and am so ready to get back on track. I was breastfeeding up until last week and that helped with calorie deficit but now that I've stopped I can already feel the lbs creeping back on!

Well done!!

Water! I love diet Pepsi but only getting it when I'm out so it is a treat. Eating meals at a similar time each day. Making sure I eat foods that will keep me full so I don't get overly hungry and make bad choices Get enough sleep!!

Age: 30 Height: 5'5 SW: 215 CW: 194 GW: around 150. I can't remember the last time I was out of the 180s so it feels almost surreal to aim for that but I know it is possible. MFP has been incredibly helpful..... I've changed my eating habits completely. Focusing on mind/body wellness and long term health.

I would be happy with 10lbs. 1 per week until then.
-
That is so exciting and inspirational. Congratulations!! I am currently at 194 and 5'5. I have lost 21 lbs. in 81 days on MFP. I would be ecstatic to have a "normal" BMI. I don't think I look obese right now but technically I am.

Yes!! I was just thinking about this.... The investment I have made into thus weight loss compared to what others do is nothing! The fitbit has been worth every penny because of how well it works with the MFP app. So pleased with my progress so far.

Earlier this week family had a get together at their pool. Snacks and treats all around. I had come from work and already had a healthy lunch so I wasn't hungry. I normally would have gone for a few handfuls of whatever was in front if me but I wasn't even tempted! Not worth the extra calories! Feeling good :)

I 100% identify with this post! I just turned 30 a few days ago and have a young son. Tracking on MFP and making time to exercise.... already feeling better (mentally and physically) I am also a people pleaser and tend to be really hard on myself. I am finding the better I feel about MYSELF the less guilty or overwhelmed I…

Congrats!! I am down 8 lbs. too since I started on MFP and I already feel so much better. It does make you realize that reaching your goal is possible.

Love this story and the fact that you had some regression but got right back to it.... talk about overcoming obstacles! Thank you for sharing.

I need to plan out my meals weekly for two reasons: 1) so much less stressful to come home and know what to make for dinner and that I have all ingredients purchased 2) weight control (obviously) I have a small freezer and not much room to freeze a lot of meals or meat. This is why I plan every Sunday. I also buy a good…

I blame myself currently for not making healthy eating and exercising always a priority. However I know I gave a tough road ahead because both of my parents are overweight and I have definitely inherited those genes. My husband and I eat very similarly and he manages a healthy weight....I just know it is something I will…

I get bored so easily so I will give you some things I choose from! Breakfast: Thomas English Muffin (the high fiber ones), a boiled egg, chocolate vita top, fiber one cinnamon raisin toast Lunch: salad with lots of veggies and chicken, egg, turkey or tuna, Dinner: chicken sausage, spaghetti squash (tons of great recipes…

All of this advice is fantastic!! I am a teacher and am also fearful of the school year getting into full swing because I know how crazy my schedule becomes and I often have trouble fitting in workouts. This last school year I did many of the suggestions above and I found it helped so much with my eating habits. Taking the…

I'm a high school teacher! Feel free to add me. I've been pretty active on here this summer and hoping to keep up with it into the school year. Always good to have fellow teachers as friends!

When you have the money I highly recommend Moving Comfort "Fiona" (got mine on amazon) I'm 38 D and always struggled with cardio and was self concious. It makes the biggest difference in the world....

Going to the gym is necessary time for me and wearing makeup is the furthest thing from my mind! Coming from work... Whatever is left on my face. When you're a working mom it's just great if the gym is part of the day. I don't interact with many people because I try to focus on my workout and listen to some tunes :)

Feel free to add me! I've just changed my diary to being open as a way to stay more accountable.

Realizing I was starting to get a double chin.....

You look so fantastic and beautiful!!!

I understand this because I absolutely do NOT hate myself, my life or my body. I try to stay positive as a way of living but do have moments where I hate being overweight and fear the long term consequences of carrying around so much weight. I don't think you need to hate yourself to be motivated but imagining how much…

This is so inspiring!! Starting my journey (yet again) but seeing all the hard work you all have done is extremely motivating.

Hello! HS special education and history teacher. Great to see so many teachers on MFP!
-
I'm in the same boat! Starting over on MFP after gaining about 15 lbs. since winter. So done with the yo-yo weight loss and weight gain. Staying motivated is the hardest part!

I have felt this way since I had my son (almost 4 years ago!) and it has really stopped me from keeping my health and sanity in check. We recently joined a gym that has a wonderful children's area that he loves so that has made it so much easier to go. I still feel guilty after work and when I feel like I don't have that…
