Thanks guys:) I waited about an hour and I was good!

Do not give up no matter what you do! I started it last Monday and it was so hard I could barely make it through the session. I fast walked and completed and took a break day. The next time I tried I was already better! I did it for times last week and was finally able to run it all! I was pretty sore the break days but it…

C210k, there's an app by zen labs just like the c25k. It's very convenient since it tells you when to run and when to talk walk, you just start off from the 5k so about 8 weeks in. Congrats on the 5k:) ** https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/10k-trainer-free-run-for-pink/id511600311?mt=8

You're just going overwork you're self. You're gonna be deprived, sore, exhausted and you're not going to want to continue with your weightloss journey. I tried something similar in January and gave up. Aiming for 1-2 pounds a week would be much smarter. stick to netting 1300-1500 calories daily and do some cardio 5-6…

Wow you look great congrats! May I ask what you did?
-
Wow thanks so much guys you've all been really helpful, but one last question. My tdee minus 20% is 1547. if I eat this much calories daily, and excercise do I sill eat back the calories I burned?
-
I walk around school but to the minimum usually sitting in class. I have a desk job at a rec centre so that takes up most of my weekend times it's been cold here since November so I haven't gone outside much, unless I'm in a car but in the summer it's a little bit more, I just kind of assumed its sedentary? I'm hoping on…
-
My lifestyle has been completely sedentary but this week I have added in a little but of exercise. Like walking, c25k. should I still be choosin sedentary or little exercise while finding out my TDEE?
-
I'm pretty sure I did the calculations right but I haven't stepped on a scale for a while, mines broken and I dread it. However the last I did I weighed 165 and Im almost certain I haven't lost or gained since. I'm also 5'8 with a sedentary lifestyle but Im working on changing that.

Maybe I have over estimated the weight I need to lose. I don't really know what I look like any thinner. However I am tall and my weight fluctuates 10 pounds sometimes without me even noticing, so I thought a 50 pound weight loss would be great, but maybe 40 pounds would be more reasonable? should I still go by the 20%…

Wouldn't anything higher result in less of a weightloss? I thought 1200 was the minimum.

Running. Although I've only been doing the c25k for 1 week and can see my stamina and endurance improving. I hope to one day be able to call myself a runner
-
It says that my bmr is 1617. So that's how much I'm supposed to be eating? I eat that much daily and I'm Still over weight, so would 1200 be unhealthy?
-
And what if you're trying to lose and not maintain?
-
Scrambled eggs with maple syrup or ketchup, yum:love:

:Congrats girl I wish I had as much dedication as you. Working on it!

Hey I'm new with this:) vikkiitoria

May I ask where you're getting this 2200 from? (Like is a bmi, bmr they all confuse me) I know it was an example but I'd like to figure mine out and figure out my deficit. and 1200 wouldn't slow down your metabolism would it? But very well explained
-
I didn't take it the wrong way, I just needed some honesty and I finally got it! Thanks so much :flowerforyou:

I've just had this explained me to maybe like 10 minutes ago, I was also very confused about this (and maybe still am a bit) but basically I have a calorie goal of 1200. if I burn lets say 200 I am allowed to eat 1400 calories because I need to eat my calories back. If you go into my posts you'll see it explained a little…
-
That makes sense. In my 'goals' though it says that with a goal of 1200 cals per day I have a daily calorie deficit of 980 and should have a weekly loss of 2 pounds. If I do it correctly this time do you think it will work out this way?
-
Wow that really seemed to clear things up. I've been doing It all wrong! However I don't find 1200 calories a day all that, so whats the point of excercising and eating back all the calories when I could just be eating 1200 cal?
-
But I thought 2 pounds weekly was doable and healthy?
-
So if I am netting 1200, is that still creating a 1000 calorie deficit and will that be enough to burn 1.5-2 pounds weekly?
-
Ya I'm a little confused with this too. My bmr is 1617. I thought I was supposed to be burning 500 cal and eating 1200 cal(500 less than usual) to lose weight but that would net at around 700 calories daily...?
