Cutting carbs is very very difficult for me, because I absolutely lose my head. Honestly - I went to the store 4 times while cooking last week because I just couldn't remember anything! I think some people just have more difficulty, either because of genes or because of other dietary constituents. Fake sugar, for instance.

Ok, so I told MFP 2 lbs/week and it gave me 1200 calories. Then I read that recommended thread about TDEE and BMR, calculated my body fat, and was given a "light activity" bmr of 2031 or so. I got those just one time - wrote it off as an allergy to my laundry detergent! Sweat and heat bring more of it out of your clothing. Maybe try switching to a different detergent and see if that helps :).
