You log whatever you've done. If your video was 20 mins of aerobics, 10 mins of calisthenics and 10 mins of yoga or whatever, that's what you log. Alternatively get a HRM and create your own entry.

I do a bit of this and a bit of that... I strength train 3x a week at the gym. I do 2 spin classes. I have 3 different bikes (MTB, hybrid, road bike), so I cycle a fair bit. I run a bit. Sometimes I swim. I used to do yoga a lot but not at the moment (moved house and haven't found an instructor I like yet). My other half…

I get rid of stuff the moment it doesn't fit anymore. I don't mind wearing things that have become a bit baggy / loose but essentially still look okay but if it's more than a size out it goes on Ebay or the charity shop. I would never keep clothes "just in case I regain it all". That's like setting yourself up to fail.

Waist / belly first. I dropped 5" off my waist in 3 months. Have always been an hourglass shape though, before I gained weight, so it seems that's what my body is wanting to go back to.

You won't be building a great deal of muscle with those. Do you have access to a local gym with proper free weights? You haven't mentioned anything about your diet yet? Do you weigh and log your food?

How's everyone doing? We had some very wet walkies lately... This is the size of our puddles...

How's everyone doing? We're just home from another muddy walk...

So do you expect anyone here to advise you in some way contrary to the advice you were given by your physicians who probably are in a much better position to advise what is presently good for you. If they say your body has been through too much and is exhausted, maybe you should listen to them and actually prioritise your…

Yep definitely Korean... Google translate comes up with this.... The Smiling, Proud Wanderer Article 8Fak suddenly in the distance and heard the ringing sound of the palm. That Those of seolssi St. had to say. - I was coming in two pieces (杜 長老).] Elder also struck three times to go to the palm Fak Park. The sound of…

So you're a 25 yr old male (from your profile), coming in at just under 190lb and you're 1,57m tall... is that correct? Fitness Blender has heaps of videos. What do those that you do involve? And how many do you do a day / week? Do you actually actually currently lift any weights for the muscle that you want?…

Generalisation. It's a personal experience and a personal choice. Whether breakfast keeps you full depends entirely on what you have for breakfast. Personally, breakfast makes me more hungry not less.

I think the spam influx we had recently is Korean.

So... are you 86kg and 5'2" or 86kg and 6'2".................? And what do you currently do for exercise? And what is the closest approximation for "the body you want"? Mate, people aren't mind readers, you know? :D
-
Your flatmate obviously doesn't have a clue. Sorry about that.

Without a crystal ball, how can anyone answer that question of how long it will take for your to get "the body you want", without giving even the most basic information of where you're at at the moment (weight, activity level), what progress you've made so far and how, and what your goals are?

Looking around in my spin class and seeing how some people have their bikes set up and how some people do the class, I'm not at all surprised some people get injured. I often see knees overtracking toes, free spinning on no resistance while bouncing around in the saddle, handlebars in a "sit up and beg" position, "grinding…

A treadmill run isn't a "full body workout" and nor is spinning. It sounds to me as if you are looking for one exercise which does everything, work every part of the body and build cardiovascular fitness and burn a decent amount of calories. If that's what you want maybe find a bootcamp class somewhere near you where you…

Is this what you are saying...? The choice between feeling pressured to comfort eat and pressured to overly obsess over controlling calories in, is a choice between a rock and a hard place for you? I don't get "emotionally distraught" about food, but I realise some people do. Personally I think to address the psychological…

And in terms of running "the best brand/type of shoe" is one which fits the unique anatomical needs of your feet, your unique biomechanics and your gait. A shoe that's one person's heaven is another person's hell. Reputable running brands are Asics, Saucony, Brooks, Mizuno, New Balance.... They will all have a full range…

A walking shoe is a walking shoe and a running shoe is a running shoe. I would never go running in my walking shoes.

I think not using a scale and eyeballing portions for many people is the reason why they don't lose or lose slower than they like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjKPIcI51lU

Here is your answer. That and the fact that you are VASTLY overestimating your burn. Your bodyweight exercises will burn next to nothing, which leaves you with a half hour bike ride broken up into 5 mins another 5 mins and 20 mins. That does not add up to 600 calories!

Great answer.

What arbitrary rubbish!

Had some raw red pepper & carrot with some hummus earlier. Nearly fainted when I logged the hummus!!!

Well that's quite simple really. When people upload a picture of themselves that shows their physique clearly, it makes it easier for people to respond regarding a question about physique. Since the previous picture (since changed) showed the area of the body you were referring to, I simply tried to qualify with you that…

Most BMR / TDEE calculators use these categories: sedentary (little or no exercise) lightly active (light exercise or sports 1-3 days per week) moderately active (moderate exercise or sports 3-5 days per week) very active (hard exercise or sports 6-7 days per week) super active (very hard exercise or sports and a physical…

Fascinating. I would never have described myself as "active" on the basis of 10,000-12,500 incidental steps alone.

I see you must be new to running. When I started running, shops were still able to offer free gait analysis because people then bought the shoes in store. I realise that small local shops were forced to charge for this service now when no purchase is made. It's simply because too many people took advantage of the service…
