Oikos Greek yogurt lots and lots of frozen veggies on hand at all times, I always supplement everything I eat with this fresh fruit on hand at all times Ice cream! LOL for my sweet tooth. Usually no more than 140 cals a serving (Breyer's Blasts are a current addiction)

Me too, I've been a binge eater all my life, and I've never stopped. I may even do it more now that I have quit smoking becuse I don't have any other vice/emotional outlet. I just binge on better food now. And from time to time, I binge on the crap I used to binge on. I log it and move on, with guilt and all.

I agree with an earlier poster...if you aren't going until later and you have time to ask this question, then you have time to snack on something before going so you don't overdo it on the pizza. If you are very hungry, fill up on some veggies or a small piece of cheese now and then you won't eat so much pizza when you get…

Ugh this drives me insane! I have the calories for it...Leave me alone with my ice cream! lol

Girl, you and I are almost IDENTICAL. I'm much older than you, but I was 25 when I initially started my weight loss journey(s). I'm 35 now. I'm 5'2", My highest weight was 236, lowest was 143, kept off for a few years, got pregnant, gained 80lbs and am losing all over again! While I don't have your same condition, I do…

Were you growing up in a very affluent, snobbish neighborhood and school? It shouldn't be, but it seems to be more accepted in those areas. 5'5" and 120 is NOWHERE near fat. A size 4-6 is NOWHERE near fat. I'm 5'2" and feel good at 140. Poor thing, you didn't deserve all of that at all.

LOL Got my undies in a twist over the parenting comment and posted before I saw everyone else's twisted undies. Sorry to add to the broken record! haha BTW, my kid is having taco bell tonight cause I'm craving it and I'm obviously a bad mother. LOL

Don't judge lest ye be judged yourself. And you wouldn't like that, would you. Feeding your child a frickin fast food hamburger 3 to 4 times a year does not make you a bad parent for crying out loud. What a ****ty thing to say to someone. I'd rather be addicted to fast food and be 300lb than have a rotten heart like you.

I've met it once before and never really did anything. This time I will set a new fitness goal, and I will go shopping for an EXTREMELY sexy outfit to wear for my husband's birthday surprise taking place in October 2014. ;)

Golly, guess not everyone is as perfect as you are. You should win some sort of award.

I've always had the same issue, even a short brisk walk would have my feet killing me..pain was mostly in my arch but could radiate from anywhere in the foot. I went to a fitness shoe store, was evaluated and fitted into a shoe meant for me. Best thing I could've done. :)

Yes! I'm interested!

Some of these sound very interesting!

How do your clothes feel? Even my hubby (apologetically) has said that he doesn't see much a difference yet, but I feel it in my clothes (pants are much looser, I'm wearing shirts I wouldn't dream of a couple months ago etc) and I feel great. Hold onto that until the rest follows!!

I'm very lucky in that the two people I work closest with are also healthy living..and both understand that this is life and we're not perfect and we can have a piece of damn chocolate if we want! I have a great support system in my co-workers! My husband, on the other hand, THINKS he's being supportive when he nitpicks…

This made me LOL!!! haha
-
Very, very sorry for your loss.

I was ecstatic at .8 this week. Just sayin'. LOL

Thank you all SO MUCH for the fantastic advice! I will be trying many of these suggestions. I had never been fitted properly for shoes before, and my feet would seriously start to hurt mere minutes into a walk. Even just a normal, every day walk. The weekend before I started the C25K program, I went to a running shoe store…

This may be of importance...I am also 35. Thanks!

I agree with this. I also like the mix and find myself glued to a "snarky" thread. I enjoy drama...if it isn't mine. hahaha

OP, please stop defending yourself to people who are nit-picking. You've helped and motivated. Well done. This journey is different for everyone, and everyone will do it the way it works for them. If they want to do it eating refined foods or low fat, so be it. They want to do it eating a candy bar, awesome. They want to…

Amen! I can't do a "diet" if it's restrictive. That's why I LOVE counting calories! Weight Watchers was also a wonderful plan that didn't restrict. That's the ONLY marketed plan/diet I know of that doesn't restrict. I lost 100lbs at one time on WW and I am forever indebted to them for teaching me how to eat properly and…

Welcome! I am in NE Ohio. :)

Maybe I'm not familiar with the program you are on, but it sounds to me like you are starving yourself. Essentially, you are eating one meal a day, correct? This will lose muscle at a rapid pace. Hence, the softness.
-
Orrrrrrrr just make your nachos with corn chips, pre-plan count up your calories, and then make good choices throughout the rest of the day. You can have what you want AND stay on plan.
-
And I've never understood the mean people on advice boards, either. LOL
Low calorie and healthy are not the same thing. Not all healthy foods are low calorie. Not all low calorie foods are healthy. The human body needs protein and fats to function properly. There's no way those two needs are being met on a 700-800 calorie per day diet.
^this. You don't necessarily have to eat…
