Please don't tell me that bitterness is a side effect of losing weight! :-) I got my response and some people have been helpful and I'm thankful for that. Good for you for getting your life enjoyment out of an internet message board, continuing to make fun of me for whatever reason is sure making you look like a stellar…

Nope, I think in the fitness world people need to be kinder, if you're not, that's good and all but I didn't come here to be led by the hand, and I also don't appreciate that kind of "honest" talk but hey if that means I'm taking things personally then yeah, I am an individual and I don't go around treating everyone equal…

I did and I only quoted the reply that was rude. If that's considered "constructive" we must have a very different definition. Anyways, I appreciate that most people were kind enough to point out what could help me more. Especially the ovarian cyst syndrome which I did have when I was younger, I will check that out.

I beg to differ, I joined the community a few days ago and i definitely didn't use the app to 100% there are ways to tell people things instead of being rude and discouraging but if that works for you that's great.

Man, I thought this was motivation and support, not a nest of vipers. Thanks for the nasty comment. I downloaded the app a long time ago but only really started using it about a month ago. I don't always log what I eat, that's true, but my commitment to weight loss and exercise goes beyond an app or a website. Granted,…

I am aware of this, after I work out, I eat all the calories I have left, therefore I do eat over almost the 1800 calories because of my work out.

This is all very frustrating to me because I have been on diets in the past, I've seen countless nutritionists throughout my life and I've learned a few things throughout the years, I'm not new at dieting and counting calories, but back then (from when I was 14 to 20) I didn't do nearly half the exercise I do today.

I'm 5'7, I am very active throughout the day and I have a routine of work out. On MFP I have an intake of 1500 calories, and I usually fluctuate from 1300-1400 on an average day. My initial weight was 220 and right now I'm 219. I drink green tea every day, I drink more than 8 cups of water a day. I AM counting my calories…

1. I went out with my friends last night and I had one glass of white wine, like 10 glasses of water and half a plate of house cut fries. They all ate full meals, drank beer and other drinks and I didn't feel tempted whatsoever. 2. I don't drink soda and only rarely treat myself to a burger, fries and a bottle of water. 3.…

also, I'm lactose intolerant :( can I use almond milk or coconut milk instead?

Thanks everyone for your help, it's a little hard for me to keep up with meals because I have to tend to a family most of the day and I cook for them, what I cook for them is not healthy for me so I sometimes eat whatever I can make quickly. it's a struggle but this definitely helps put things more into perspective.

Man, seriously? sometimes I feel like I'm eating all day and it's never enough haha. thank you :)

The greatest battle for me is learning to love myself and accepting my little triumphs, I'm a strong believer that the scale does not define me and I try not to weigh myself much so I rely on what I see in the mirror and the way my clothes fit. I can't say I've seen a great progress but I'm getting there. I like having…
