I used to hate vegetables, but I am slowly but surely liking them more. I am eating them raw only, because I'm really big on the texture of foods, but the more and more I eat them, the more I'm being able to tolerate them.

My favorite is the "Carbonation" diet. I was in high school, some girl said she and her mother were on it, and I remember asking "So you're not drinking soda?" and she said "No, tons of foods have carbonation in it." Uh.. what?

Actually, from my experience, heavy heavy pot smokers tend to lose weight after awhile.. At least at my high school they did. The guys who were really heavy pot smokers lost a lot of weight after a certain point. Even stepping outside of that group, one of my good friends (we don't really speak anymore) starting smoking…

i hate hate hate that! heavy smokers sit next to me all the time in class, and it's so awful!

I think I'll just work my abs tonight, because those are basically the only part of me that's not SUPER sore. Thanks everyone :)

Are you taking it with food? I take my vitamin (the teenage one-a-day) right after a meal and that usually helps me, otherwise I feel nauseous too.

i like it.

I'm going to splurge splurge splurge on all the pretty things I've never been able to look cute in, including a brand new bikini or really tight, sexy dress ! ;)

I watch it! I really like it, and it makes me wish I could have a personal trainer to teach me how to eat and work me out every day :( I do think that they're weight loss may be a little unreasonable.. It makes me wonder if they'll really keep it all off for long or not.

Thanks everyone! I just downloaded the MFP app to my phone, plus i FINALLY worked out last night for the first time in two weeks, so I think I'm back in the mindset. All those ideas-- like packing my lunch, planning my food-- I can't really do because of my dorm room living, and lack of money, so I'm just kinda flying by…

Thanks everyone, just hearing feedback made it easier to go running today :)

Well I'm a freshman girl in college, and can tell you that it is A LOT harder to exercise and lose weight your freshman year than it is your senior year, if that helps :) All freshman year is is FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD. And usually BEER too. So many calories, so little exercise.

That happens to me a lot. When I still have some left, I just focus on if I'm really hungry. If I'm not hungry, then I don't eat anything. But if I get hungry, and it's still two hours before I go to bed, then I'll have a snack, but nothing too crazy. I don't really think it's too awful, as long as it's not happening every…

I'd love to join too! Currently, at 166, but would love to get down to the 130's by summer, though I'm not really rushing myself. To get there, I'm concentrating on learning to eat healthy and actually like healthy foods, along with making exercising regularly a habit.

I have no idea if what you said was correct about how it works, but I watched Celebrity Weight loss Secrets on TV last night, and a dietitian said that the HCG was not healthy at all, so I'd say you'd be correct in your assumption that she's starving herself. But that's just my opinion :/

I'm a little confused, are you saying you've eaten more than 1200 calories per day, or under? You should have at least 1200 calories per day to keep your body moving, sometimes even more depending on your activity level for the day-- like if you have a strenuous job that keeps you moving.

I watch fitness/"i used to be fat"/biggest loser type shows when I'm on the EFX at home, or when I'm at the gym I take my itouch and watch Family Guy. If possible, I'd chose the exercise, weight-loss type shows. SUCH a motivator!

Thanks everyone! I was eating dinner and not liking what I was eating (whole grain pasta that tasted like cardboard) and had a message-board temper tantrum ;) My calorie goal is set at 1,900-ish, and I drink water, but not as much as I probably should, so I'll try that before my meals too.

I've found that my Elliptical is pretty accurate when compared to MFP, though I'd say 600 is a lot for 35 minutes, but it does depend on your weight. I'd use MFP because it takes your weight into account (I think so, anyway). Personally, I did 35 minutes on my Elliptical yesterday, the machine said I burned 407 calories,…

From what I know, the belly fat is one of the last things to go. I'd concentrate on total body and just overall cardio to burn calories, and the belly fat will come off as it does. Then again, I may be wrong, but that's how I understand it.

GOOD LUCK :)

if you can, eat dinner later to keep from getting hungry? at school, i eat dinner at 5, and find myself getting hungry again around 9-10ish, and i found that once i came home for break and started eating dinner around 7-8, i didn't snack as much at night. also, having a water bottle near you at all times, taking a drink…

i agree with the eating your exercise calories! your body has gone into starvation mode, so not only is it refusing to lose weight, it's saving all the calories you are taking in. i'd up your calorie intake to at least 1800. don't give up!! sometimes it takes awhile, but it'll all be worth it!

Count me in :) Kelsey Starting weight - 168.0 Ending weight - 150.0 Exercise - I'm in college, so anything I can do: free weights, jump roping, the gym.

we have EA Active for Wii, i don't know if it's similar to EA Active Sports 2, but i really liked it, if that helps at all. It was really interactive and had a lot of different options as far as progress tracking, also some different programs to pick to help you lose weight/be active. it read my moves pretty well too, but…

congratulations! you look awesome! :D

Yep :) I've felt more focused this semester at school than I ever have, so I thought that starting off the new year would be fantastic way to really get my motivation up. Good luck to you as well :)

i've never even thought to set calorie burned goals, thank you so much for the idea! and GOOD LUCK everyone :D
