Hello! I am still trying to remember my way around the message boards on MFP. I have been a member for a long time, but took a break away for a few years. After a year of being home bound from the pandemic and also turning 50 this year, I figured it was time to work at this to get back into some sort of shape! Daily Post:…

Let’s do this!

Great work!

One of my MFP friends has 1228 days. For myself, my challenge is to make it 30 days with proper food logging!
-
Yay! Glad you are getting going and can see what to improve or to continue with as well! Tomorrow school restarts here so my two are back to that, and I'm off to a free-trial boot camp workout! Hope I can still move on Tuesday!

I'd like to join!!

Hi everyone. It's a new year, which means new year resolutions! I've been on MFP before and had some success, but then let everything slide and I'm back up past where I started before. I'm 43, married with 2 kids under 10. We live in the UK but originally I'm from Canada. I'm 168cm (5'6") and was 89kg(196 pounds) on…

I don't normally do resolutions, but this year I am. 1. To lose 6kg by the middle of February. 2. To lose 20kg by the end of the year. 3. To read at least one book a month. This isn't a lot, but it's just to get me back into reading more than magazines and online articles. 4. To do and complete one craft project per month.…

Great job and you look great!

Check out some of the recipes on A Girl Called Jack. http://agirlcalledjack.com They aren't exclusively vegetarian, but a lot are because she lived below the poverty line for a long time and meat is expensive. She even breaks down the cost of the recipe per ingredient. It's in UK money, but I'm sure the same general prices…

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Gosh, this is sounding familiar. I worked hard in the first three months of last year and lost close to 20 pounds. Then I got tired of logging everything, thought I would see how I would do on my own. Not so good, I've managed to gain nearly all of it back. I did have a few minor injuries that slowed me down, but they were…

False. I've never worn heels higher than 2 inches.

Hope everyone who ran yesterday in London had a good time. I sure did! I even ended up taking the kids along (6 and nearly 4) and with the help of some friends to keep them distracted, they enjoyed it too!

I like that you included a picture, because sometimes all these recipes sound nice, but never turn out to look or taste nice. Those look delicious! Nice and fluffy.
-
True. I've never been a cheerleader.
-
Now you wrote that as a positive, rather than "I've never", so I have to answer false. I've never done a color run or similar. (This is true for about the next 8 hours)
-
False. I've never lived in a house or apartment with air conditioning.
-
False. I've never been to Chicago.
-
False. I've never wrestled in jello or custard or any other edible substance. (Anyone else playing this game and thinking, "I've never .... oh wait, yes I have" over all their ideas?)
-
False. I've never been so drunk I needed someone to help me to get home.
-
You mean literally? True. I've never said "Y'all".
-
True! I've never lived near a beach.
-
False. Not drunk, but probably not within legal limits to drive. I've never snowboarded.
-
False. Had to eat an Australian meat pie on Australia Day with no hands. Can't remember if I won or lost. I've never used someone else's toothbrush.

I recently bought these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009GCMEH0/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is the link to Amazon UK, but a search will probably find them for you on .com. I like the fact that I can wash them if they get sweaty or dirty and that they come with three different sizes of end pieces…
