Oh, well, yes, I get noticed for that as well! I was thinking more looks, but yeah, big mouth gets me noticed more than anything probably.
-
I think that a lot of people aren't aware of someone noticing them unless that person then hits on them in some really obvious way ("Hey babe, how YOU doin'?") It doesn't mean you aren't being noticed, it means you don't notice it yourself! I spent my late teens and early twenties not realising that several of the guys I…

These kind of topics always get the best animated gifs.

I think it's wrong for my 6 year old to worry about being fat. Hence I don't talk about fitness, for me or for them, in terms of losing weight or being fat.
-
Yes, 2 skinny kids is absolute proof that telling a 6 year old not to get fat will not cause eating and body issues later. Happy for you that your kids are fit, active and healthy. Does not mean your methods are right.
-
Yes, it can be too early to teach a child that fat is not okay. A child of six should have NO concerns about how fat they are or are not. Even if they were fat, I think telling them to exercise so they wouldn't be fat at age 6 is a terrible way to try and get them to do it. That's a great way to introduce poor body image…

I'm not so convinced by your arguments. I don't think it's a problem to let her 6 year old do 30DS, but I don't think she should being led to the idea of needing to exercise to lose fat. At six, she should understand you exercise because it's fun and because it's good for you. If she needs specifics about why it's good,…

Yep, I log it as circuit training.

Do Jillian about 3-4 times a week and the walk on 1 or 2 of the "rest" days.

You might want to change your language at home, saying that you need to get fit, rather than lose weight. That' what I do to prevent my kids getting unnecessary hang-ups from my attempts to be healthier. You can tell her also that she's welcome to do it (I'd say without weights) but that she gets fit from running around…

Ooh, intriguing! And count me in!

I looked at your food diary OP, to see how perhaps I could help you budget better here in the UK. Unfortunately it doesn't have a lot of information in it.

Sounds pretty bogus to me, but on the other hand, it sounds like a nice way to flavour water, which is of course good to drink. Go for it for the taste, but don't count on any miracles.

Well, I don't think snacking in and of itself is that bad, it's what the snack is and how much of it and how often that makes a difference. So to offer you the best advice, tell us what time of day you snack, where you are when you snack (home, work, studying, what) , what you snack on and how much.

Laugh in her face next time. That will probably annoy her more than any rude response (which would have been my first instinct). Her reaction, her RUDENESS, her obvious inability to see properly that you are in fine form - all so ridiculous it's laughable.

100 ounces? 3 quarts of water?? I think you should aim for around 64oz and not worry about it if you only drink 40oz. As others have said, all the moisture in your food can count too.

Rum with lime and you are sorted.

Acid wash jeans that were so tight, the only way to put them on in the morning was to lie on the bed and use a coat hanger to zip them up. Corkscrew perms with HIGH bangs for the girls. Mullets for the guys. Business in the front, party in the back.

1. Fantastic results so far, good for you! 2. You look stupider NOT asking for help and not using your gym membership to it's full extent. The people who work there will be more than glad to help you. It's their job and most trainers enjoy, duh, training people, including how to use the weights. 3. Loads of people are…

It took you longer to grow a baby inside you - give your body a chance to recover. 8 months isn't that long. It may feel remembering it that the work to lose weight was hard, but being not as fit as you want to be is hard work too. You want to be shorter - that's not going to happen. Some wish to be taller, that's not…

Hahaha, ok, you missed out the bit about being a teacher and this for school. Perhaps an idea for another day. In that case, get a stop sign and go as an octagon. Don't take the easy way out, go full out with an Optimus Prime costume. You will be the coolest teacher that day with that. My personal choice (partly because I…

Story of O. I'll let you research that costume and props yourself...

Don't make the mistake I did the first time I had it. Despite knowing it was savoury, I looked at it and my taste buds were expecting a rich chocolately taste that would put Nutella to shame. This is not what it tastes like.  Despite this terrible introduction, I have learnt to like it. It's an acquired…

Olivia Newton-John. Pull on a cardigan, longish skirt and some textbooks and you are her character Sandy from Grease.
-
Serious chocolate overload today. Nothing else was extreme in terms of food, but today certainly was calorie heavy. I know I have extra time this week to work out, so plan to hit it hard from tomorrow onwards to make up for it.

You look too much like Christian Bale in American Psycho. I'm too scared of the resemblance to stay with you.
-
I'd do one of three things. 1. Ignore your downstairs neighbour and keep working out. Neither the police nor the office are going to do anything about someone exercising in the middle of the day. 2. Start working out between 11pm and midnight for a week so that she's relieved and happy when you switch back to 11am. 3.…

That's a pretty good start. I personally usually add a bit of celery salt, but that's optional and don't use too much. Marjoram is pretty much like oregano, I wouldn't go out of my way to add that when you have oregano.

Dude, my daughter is in elementary school. You are sick.

Kale chips are easy to make. Get kale, wash, chop into manageable sized pieces, toss with small amount of olive oil and salt, spread out in a single layer on a baking sheet, put into a medium hot oven until they start to brown on the edges, usually around 10-15 minutes. Does the fruit completely mask the taste? Hmm,…
