home mixed italian seasoning
Options
there are like 1000 different recipes for homemade italian seasoning, but i want to know BASIC ingredients..i cant go out ant buy outrageous stuff that i rarely use..i have oregano, basil, thyme, garlic powder, and i think thats bout it...is that good enough to use, or is there anything else that may add a good flavor ? some other recipes call for rosemary (which i NEVER use) and marjoram (which i have no idea what that is) any ideas ?

That's a pretty good start. I personally usually add a bit of celery salt, but that's optional and don't use too much. Marjoram is pretty much like oregano, I wouldn't go out of my way to add that when you have oregano.0
