Love.

On the surface it can look like a great set-up, but I think in practice few couples can really pull it off. It only works if all people involved are extremely secure and have exceptional communication skills.

How someone handles their money is important to me. That talk happens pretty early on if I am considering getting serious with someone. Debt is by no means a dealbreaker, but digging in deeper with no plan to get out is, as is lying about money.

There are a lot of polyamorous couples on OKC where I live. I have been messaged numerous times by men and women wanting me to join their situation. No judgement, really, but many of these couples also have kids and full-time jobs. Where in the world do they find the time for these kinds of relationships? I would like to…

I cannot deny that - it's a fact. But mother nature gave me an out by not installing one o' those biological clock thingies in me (or maybe it's just broken). And, yeah, nothings gonna throw a flag quicker than rape or DV stories. I mean, in due time it's something you need to know about. But yikes.

I had a guy tell me on the second date as he casually walked to his car that he was going to put a baby in me. Also relevant: my profile specifically said I do not want kids. I think he was under the mistaken impression that's a romantic thing to say; he would terribly wrong on that point.

If it makes you feel better, I am 100% sure yoru muffin was better than the oreos, which cost me 560 cals?
-
Update: The red velvet oreos were a disappointment. IMO the cream cheese creme had a very non-Oreo consistency and kind of a chemical taste (and yes, I know it says artificial flavors rights on the package, but even accounting for that...bleh). I left them in the break room with no regrets. Not sure if this is a victory or…

I'd call it at about 2,200 - that salad looks like it has oil, the chicken has skin-on, (and looks to be served a top a pita that is probably at least 300) and those fries and fried pita-looking things pack some cals as well. ETA: To the "is it healthy" question...it's certainly not unhealthy, but if it were me I'd save…

I am utterly transparent on online profiles, even when it's to my detriment (like age - I recall hating turning 40 only because I knew I would now be cut from searches for anyone who selected up to 40). Also about my faith (or lack thereof) and and desire for children (or lack thereof). Best to get that out of the way from…

Confession - I was relieved when I found I can't give blood b/c I lived in the UK as a kid in the early 80s. I want to help, but hate having blood drawn for any reason.

I just realized the other day that even though I only fibbed by 10lbs when I got my license when I moved a couple years ago, I am now about 30 lighter than what it states! That made me feel really good.

Hopefully they are more honest about their height than some women are about their weight (oh, sorry did you mean in POUNDS?). Some have even convinced themselves they aren't even lying since they've been doing so long. It's amazing the number of men who seem to think it perfectly ordinary to round up 2-3 inches to meet 6'…

I've been trying to do this. I am pretty good with budgeting money, but this is not translating as seamlessly as I'd hoped to calories. Maybe if sale items were only allowed in the produce and meat aisles that would help.
-
Yep, don't care! :) They have now survived intact nearly 24hrs.

Found and bought the red velvet oreos today. Going to see how long I can go without opening them. Luckily, there were no RV cupcakes. I will mentally log that as a win.
-
I looked for these last week, but they weren't in yet. I pretty much love red velvet anything. Cals are pretty steep, but I will probably look for them again this week anyways. And try to keep to 2 servings at a time. Or just eat a whole row and leave the rest in the break room at work. Ha! ETA: Red velvet cupcakes are on…

I so want to try these, but my store doesn't carry them. The peanut butter ones are pretty good, though.

Yes, we have many agents out there diligently reinforcing the "ugly American" rep. No "when in Rome" for us! Makes me cringe.
-
I had a big salad with lots of protein before heading to the party, so despite being surrounded by nachos, burritos, burgers, beer, and 2 kinds of cake, I stuck to a few pieces of broccoli and sugar snap peas from the veggie tray and diet coke. Pretty proud of myself!

+1. A goal of 3 stone in 2 months is completely unrealistic, unless you are willing to sacrifice a couple of appendages to the cause.

I want to work with SLLRunner and Elphie! My coworkers bring in weird vegan "treats" that are usually not worth the calories at all.
-
So there are a LOT of people on the spreadsheet who haven't logged a single weigh-in or just did the first week. Is it possible to pare it down (maybe delete those who haven't checked in at all)? It gives us a better idea of how we are meeting our goals as a group in terms of the numbers across the top. Just a thought. :)

I am putting this on my Foods I Wish I Didn't Know About list. It will join Salted Caramel Cupcakes, Banana Nut Bread Brownies, and Blueberry Bourbon and Basil Doughnuts. :/
-
Hahahaha!
-
Wait, whaa? I did not know these existed. Probably good I have never seen IRL. Drooool.

Looks like OP is meeting this threshold mainly through protein bars. Not my cup o' tea, but if it's working for her... [ETA] Though Wheelhouse makes a good point - is this sustainable?

For 8-10 pounds you should be using a setting to lose .5 a week. You also cannot spot-reduce. At 5'7", 128 is well within range by most estimates, anyways. I would focus on feeling strong and healthy at pageant time, rather than the number on the scale.

Yep, this. If you don't have patience, you will be your own foil.
