I am guessing you set MFP to 2 lbs a week. Please read this: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1.

Hi - I've been a Crohnie since about 1998. I don't have an open diary (find I am more honest in my logging that way), but am happy to share experiences and talk about what foods work for me, though it sounds like trigger foods can vary a lot by person - finding a happy diet seems to mostly involve a lot of trial and error.…

Chicken breast sauteed with diced tomatoes, kale, mushrooms, garlic, sweet onion, potato, and black olives served a side of steamed asparagus. So excited about it. But first...the gym!

I think she means it was her "best week" in terms of sticking to the plan, maybe?

Just because something isn't illegal does not mean it's acceptable. It only recently became illegal to take pics up someone's dress/skirt ("upskirting") - which is SO clearly a personal violation - and even this remains unaddressed by criminal law in most jurisdictions. But since the question is about etiquette and not…

I am rather partial to British humor. Could be b/c I spent 2 years there as a kid, but I think I would have grown up to prefer dry, subtle wit regardless.

What alatarial75 said. You are not conducting a methodologically sound study. No control, no pre/post bloodwork or physiological markers, no n other than yourself. If this is just to satisfy a curiosity, that's fine, but don't think there is anything scientific about this test.
-
So it sounds like you only want advice from people who have actually subjected themselves [as adults] to this treatment. I like food and variety in my diet (not to mention chewing) so I guess I am out. Good luck with your "test."

200. I never actually reached it. My highest recorded weight was 188, but I suspect I crept into the 190s at one point.

Also, Tab. (Kidding, but I recall my Mom living on the stuff when I was a kid.)

Also used to love Diet Grapefruit Shasta, but haven't seen in a long time.

+1. Yes, that's been my experience.

I have to get them periodically per my GI doc due to a significant deficiency. I have not noticed any impact on my energy levels or weight loss. Just a sore arm for a day.

Caffeinated (usually preferred): Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper/Dr. Pepper 10 - I should try Pepsi Max, just haven't had occasion yet. Non-caffeinated: Diet 7-up/7-Up 10, Fresca, Diet Root Beer (Mugs, Barque's, A&W doesn't much matter - I know that's blasphemy to some)...

I doubt this is your answer. Unless you actually *like* these products (and you'd be in the minority), it's not sustainable. Why not use regular rice/noodles, just less?

As others have said, find what works for you. I eat a snack (usually a yogurt or piece of fruit) right before I leave work*, stop home to let the dog out and change, and then head to the gym for anywhere for 1 to 1.5 hours. Usually home by 6:30 or 7:00 and then have dinner. *If I don't have a snack I get too hungry at the…

I was expecting to see that you had an entire extra large pizza followed by half a cheesecake - 99 cals over is barely a blip, no worries at all! Mmmm, pizza and cheesecake...

It's all wrapped up, so looks like we are good to go.

I just took a bunch of professional clothes to Dress for Success. Sad because they were nice suits, dresses, etc., but glad they will find a good home.
-
I stopped at one serving of pretzels today, even though another serving would have polished off the bag!

If your profile is accurate, you are a 54 year old man. Please don't give this kind of advice to the OP, who is a teenage girl. This approach can lead to yo-yo weight loss, terrible habits that can span a lifetime, and even EDs.

I think she's referring to the 6 apples and water plan proposed above...

You probably can, but you will probably also gain it right back because of the deprivation you will have to do get there. What is so magical about Feb 10th?

This is one of my favorite episodes. Bart: "If you gain 61 pounds they'll let you work at home?" Homer: "Y'uh huh, that's the deal. No more exercise program, no more traffic, no more blood drives or charity walks." Bart: "Dad, I know we don't do a lot together but helping you gain 61 pounds is something I want to be a part…

I alternate days on each (to save my knees from too much running), so please don't make me choose!
-
I came into this thread just to say this (well, I was gonna go with "she"), but I see it's been covered, so I will go creep elsewhere. To OP - it gets easier if you are consistent. Good luck!
-
How long have you been doing this? Just curious - seems reasonable if you are disciplined about it.

I am a latecomer, but just added myself to the spreadsheet. Down to my last 10-15lbs to lose, so I doubt that 20 by Easter is practical. I set a 10lb goal for myself instead.

Just ordered the book - it should arrive later this week!
