Wait, what happened to the fish??? They lost weight the first year too. LOL. Great progress. You have a similar body type as my husband and he has recently lost 45 lbs with more to lose. Thanks for sharing, you should be very proud.

Almost 44 here, full menopause (surgical) so I know what you mean about hormones and the challenges of keeping ahead of aging. I have learned that exercise and diet have so much more effect on hormones and the side effects of menopause then any medicine will ever have. I am not growing old gracefully, I plan on kicking…

I enjoy beef once or twice a week. I should say that I try to stick to natural grass fed beef (and I know it is cause my kids raise it) I prefer not to purchase from grocery stores so I know that nothing chemical has been added. I am a believer in everything in moderation.

I use runkeeper for my walks.

You should have said that you are working on a new diet pill and getting great results but you can't share since you are seeking a patent. I love messing with people!!

Also, please note that my eating the last five days is not normal. My daughter was competing at a three day volleyball tournament so it was a bad weekend for eating. We were constantly on the run and no outside food was allowed in the event. Please look back a little farther in the diary.

I log on everyday and try to offer as much support as I can. Sometimes I am not close to the computer so I don't read message boards but I always try to encourage. Anyone interested in adding me, send a request.

I am taking on this journey with my husband. We found out that together we can accomplish anything. In addition, it makes cooking much simpler. Our three teenagers that live at home are also on this journey with us because I refuse to cook for them separately. I figure they will pick up healthy habits that way too.

I am the wife of a retired Air Force man. I know how hard he struggled to keep his weight off while in the service. You can add me and I will support you.

I weigh myself every day but that is because I tend to retain water when I am working out too much so I keep an eye on that and adjust my workout/water accordingly. I will do measurements at the end I think. I want to see the big difference. I can feel it now though.

I tried them and didn't notice any difference. It was a waste of money in my opinion

Today was Level 1 day 3 for me, I am a little ahead but since I am going to take rest days it will all work out. Let's keep going. So far, it is hard but I feel so good when it is over and I am one more day closer to accomplishing the goal of completing this.
