I am about 5'4"-5'5" (depending on the day) and I have a large build with broad shoulders, size 10 feet. SW: 204 CW: 188 1st GW: 167 I figured I'd see how I felt then and lose accordingly. Ultimately I'd like to be somewhere in the 140s I think.

Had fast food the last few nights unfortunately... My mom has been wanting to go out. - Wendy's: Pecan chicken salad, no bleu cheese - Taco Bell dollar menu: 1 bean burrito and 2 crispy tacos - Subway: Footlong veggie delight sub on wheat with sweet onion sauce, no cheese All of these fit my calorie needs perfectly.

It helps me to eat after my workout. I go to the gym in the morning then have a bowl of yogurt and high protein cereal with fresh fruit for breakfast. Curbs my appetite for hours with a good amount of protein as well as slow releasing carbohydrates. If you find you are still hungry, drink a lot of water during your…

Thank you! And for those who don't know what I mean in this context, 'chub rub' is also a term for 'thigh chafing', where your thighs rub together and cause rashes, broken skin, and general discomfort. I've seen it used a lot on this site and other sites for weight loss tips and things of that nature, so it's a pretty…

Also lol at everyone getting confused by the phrase 'chub rub' and what it also refers to in terms of chafing.

Thanks guys! Just wanted to see what y'all thought before I went and bought anything. :)

Awesome to know, thanks so much! I have been obsessing over this issue lately, as I have had some bad experiences... But I figured something like Bodyglide will also be good for different workouts, runs, hikes, bike rides, etc! Y'know, it's intended purpose. Haha.

Thanks, JTick! I will check it out, I've heard Monistat anti chafing stuff is pretty good too, so will experiment some before the trip if I can't find Bodyglide. :)

The only ones I've found that are comfortable and supportive without being too constricting are from Jockey. If you have a Jockey store, try it out! They have some 'push up' style, but I find they're more supportive than any other ones and hold everything in without showing off your headlights.

Healthy snacks! If I am really feeling hungry, I will grab some fruit, vegetables or a handful of nuts and eat them slowly. If I don't want any of those then I'm not 'hungry', I just want to eat. There's a big difference!

Sometimes it can take a while for the numbers on the scale to change due to water retention and weight fluctuation day to day. Don't get discouraged! Keep up the great work and you'll get there.

Biking is awesome exercise! Congratulations on your progress so far, and keep it up! As for exercises, I myself have knee issues and also get shin splints when I use the treadmill or run outside, so I do lower impact cardio such as the stationary bike, the elliptical trainer (my favorite), or swimming. They're great…

I stay fairly regimented. I preplan my meals for the day and think about how many calories I want to consume that day and when. I leave room for some healthy snacks. There are about 3 breakfasts I rotate when I feel like them, and I portion leftovers for lunch or have an Amy's organic frozen meal. Dinner is tricky…

I eat a lot of fruit. Instead of a high calorie dessert, I have a big bowl of cantaloupe or strawberries. It's healthier sugars than those found in highly processed foods or baked goods. Keep good snacks around to curb cravings. Everything in moderation! :)

I heard about it from my doctor a while back, I was losing some weight on my own and she noticed and asked me if I'd heard of it. Been enjoying it! :)

Yes! Think of it this way, 1200 calories is already giving you quite a good deficit for just body functions day to day. Now, if you work out, you're making it that much more difficult for your body to perform on even more restricted calories. So eat the calories back, as the deficit is for weight loss and exercise is meant…

Sounds pretty good! Kinda like a sauteed baked apple.

I LOVE any sort of beauty and pampering stuff. Candles, bath stuff, face masks, makeup, etc. <3

1. Large build. Broad shoulders, size 10 feet. 2. I weigh 188 right now and size 14/16 pant. 3. Right now my goal is about 167lbs, because that's 30lbs from when I started. 4. I am 24. 5. No kids. :)

I always buy Amy's organic frozen meals. They don't have a ton of chemicals and additives, they don't have a ton of sodium, and they have a lot of flavor! My favorites are the cheese enchiladas, mac and cheese, and the Mexican casserole. They make a good lunch or dinner at around 400 calories, and I snack on cherry…

That's great motivation!!! I told myself when I hit this mark I'd buy some new shoes. :) That way I am not worried about a new dress or something not fitting in a month or so. Great progress!

Wow great job!!! I can't run just yet because it's too much impact on my knees and I get shin splints to compensate, hoping I can build myself up to that. :) Keep it up, you're doing awesome!

Great job!! It's always exciting when you and other people start really noticing changes. :)

Just tell him like it is! You are getting yourself into shape to be healthy, and if he doesn't like it then that's his problem to work through. Sounds like he is afraid of you getting thinner, and no man should ever talk like that to his partner. No woman should do that to their partner either. Personal attacks of that…

You never know, maybe they wish they had your thighs! I know it's hard to get past it, but don't focus too much on it. Every person has things about themselves they don't like or want to change, just remember it's your body and embrace it! :) As for the eczema cream, I haven't tried the prescription stuff myself, but I do…

I think the worst was knowing this one friend I had wouldn't date me because I was fat. He never said it outright because he's a friend, but I know through another friend that he wasn't attracted to me. I'm sure being so overweight played a big role in that, he dated a bunch of thin girls that were friends of mine and had…

Just a sidenote, I've been suffering from leg rashes all winter and Aveeno eczema lotion helped SO MUCH. I took baths and slathered that on before bed and it's cleared right up with time. But be confident! Find what's flattering on your body and run with it. Those short-shorts and crop tops are just a trend and will go out…

I typically fluctuate around 2lbs a day. It just depends what I eat, especially if it's particularly high in sodium.

My wake up call was my (currently) long distance boyfriend being able to join my family and I in Hawaii this summer. Kickstarted me wanting to be healthier and have less jiggle and fit into my swimsuits better. I want to be able to really enjoy the vacation instead of feeling like a beached whale all the time! Usually I'm…
