Summers coming around...

And I see all these girls in short short and crop tops and it makes me so jealous! Right now I'm in the middle of my exams, and so don't have the effort left in me to be focusing my energy on fitness and diet. I love going to the gym, but recently I just don't have the time and my eating habits are out of control! So to say the least I'm feeling a little chubby. I'm 18, 5"2 and 132-135lbs,.. I wanted to wear shorts today but I wore tights with them and felt so conscious stood next to all these skinny girls
and there is NO WAY I wouldn't wear tights because my legs are horribly rashy (I have eczema) and cellulite-y. When I finish my exams I can't wait to get back on track with my exercise and proper nutrition, but by the time I undo the damage the exams have done it'll be well into summer, and after my hot beach holiday! Feeling so down... Help

Just a sidenote, I've been suffering from leg rashes all winter and Aveeno eczema lotion helped SO MUCH. I took baths and slathered that on before bed and it's cleared right up with time.
But be confident! Find what's flattering on your body and run with it. Those short-shorts and crop tops are just a trend and will go out of style, but find some awesome fitting shorts and a cute top that you're comfortable and feel great in.0 -
I've heard of aveeno cream - would you recommend it then?
I have prescription moisturiser (Cetraben emollient cream) from the doctors and that works wonders but I just keep forgetting to put it on my legs at night - and I itch in my sleep! Haha so crazy... The main thing is the horrible fat on my thighs that makes me feel embarrassed to be seen next to these girls...

You never know, maybe they wish they had your thighs! I know it's hard to get past it, but don't focus too much on it. Every person has things about themselves they don't like or want to change, just remember it's your body and embrace it!
As for the eczema cream, I haven't tried the prescription stuff myself, but I do recommend the Aveeno one. It's Aveeno Eczema Therapy moisturizing cream. I think it's around $10, but less than most prescriptions!0 -
Thankyou, that's nice of you to say
I really should stop obsessing so much about it, at least for now while other issues are more important
Ah okay, thankyou for that tip:flowerforyou:
