Yes it works just not as fast as Lipitor but with much fewer side effects.

In Mongolia they drink milk from a mare, in the middle east some people drink milk from a camel, sheep are also used for milk as is goats. In Italy the prized milk from a water buffalo is use to make wonderful cheese. So if you think drinking cows milk is gross.......

Show me one case of cancer that was caused by Aspartame, you can't because it is not true. Woo Woo science

I love that song. How are you doing?

it is interesting that in India they use specific spices and herbs added to their meals depending on their health condition. Turmeric is on of them and an interesting one is Fenugreek they use it in foods when someone has diabetes. I know several Doctors from India it is fascinating to talk to them.

Exactly! It is very common in women that experienced childhood sexual abuse too. Obesity is sometimes about what goes on in the head as much as what goes in the mouth.

be careful for some people xylitol can give some people gi bathroom issues. My husband uses Monkfruit in the raw and likes it.

You have made a big step as some one else said don't let anyone talk you into or out of surgery. I live with someone who has had a lap band it is a tool and he still struggles with his issues as will you. I would do it if my weight becomes uncontrollable. I have a friend who did and she looks amazing and is happy but for…

very low fat diets are also hard to maintain. I also remember the 80's and 90's. We are even heavier now.

I was a GD. I ate pretty much what I wanted but it was healthy foods, like chicken, eggs, beef, veggies and whole fruit. I would reduce things like cheep carbs like white bread, sugary cereal, things that break down fast. Whole grain or slow digesting carbs are important. Weight gain is still important. I am a nurse…

haha no I have visited and enjoyed myself too

different breeds of sweet potato may have different values, often what one calls a sweet potato may be a yam.

I never had a bad meal in San Diego,

generally no but topped with cilantro would be tasty.

For me I love my rice cooker because: It does not take up a burner, I can set it for a variety of types of rices and it is always perfect. I don't ever have to watch it, it beeps when it is done I fluff it and then it automatically goes to warm and I can serve from it. The kind I use was popular in Japan and they know…

Yes I found that if I only used the coconut milk the rice did not cook right so I just substituted about a cup. It make me hungry for it just talking about it

Butter cream frosting won't spoil over night. it is mostly fat and sugar

I have in the past added a little lite coconut milk, Thai red curry, and shrimp to my rice. My family loved the spicy taste but the coconut milk smoothed it out and the liquid was mostly water.

Thank you for sharing. I have a Japanese one their cup is smaller that you measure rice in.

My question too. It sounds yummy. I love my rice cooker I have had one for 15 years. It was pricy but it still works like new

Nola.com said it was between 350-450 depending on the size and type of meat and amount.

I allow for a treat every evening so if I want one it is there. I try not to deprive my self of one. If you like dark chocolate it is not to high calorie and try for something that is wrapped in single servings. Ghirardelli is a good brand. If you deprive yourself when you do give in it won't be pretty.

I did not eat the cake but I so wanted to.

Someone gave us a huge bag of candy. I did not eat any because it would have be a slippery slope I would have went back for just one piece many times. I felt good about saying no thank you!

the ultra low fat fad is one of the reasons people gained weight in the 90's you have to make up for the fat some way it was sugar that replaced it. fat adds flavor, helps foods digest slower so blood sugar stays more even. a little is good, too much or too little is also bad.

Those carbs you eat are good for the brain and the vitamin C they contain are good for everything. Don't eat a bog but 2 a day is not bad. The best thing to do for pre-diabetes as has been said is lose weight and exercise. If my patients only ate an extra cutie I would do back flips. I am a nurse.

for me a meal portion is 3 oz and I am very satisfied. I did have to learn what a normal portion was. That amount fits in to my food plan nicely

I use canned chick peas drained rinsed and blotted dry. I will use a light drizzle of olive oil. For seasoning it really depends on my mood anything from salt to zattar seasoning, sometimes garlic and chili powered. I roast at 400 degrees the time for me depends on how much moisture is in them but I check them every 10…

I roast chick peas until dry and crunchy I vary how I season them to suit my mood
