I would suggest finding a local farmer's market and asking for tips as you buy. There are so many different fruits to try it might be less overwhelming to tackle a select few at a time. I still have trouble with mango and pineapple cutting, seems like I destroy half the fruit while slicing. It's great to face food fears…

I'm single! And I'm living a great life. Although I am always on the lookout for that "special somebody" it isn't what defines the way I live right now. Idon't need anothr person to complete me or make me feel whole; however it would be fantastic to have someone to share this incredble life with. My 2 cents.

I like the idea of a weekly goal instead of daily. I usually give myself 1rest day, so I'll. try to burn 3600. (600 Cal x 6 days) with a little room for highs and lows. I had planned a Mon. rest day but I'm posting a 0 for today. I had a last minute brainstorming session for a friends wedding. Yep I'm going to be a…

I'm going to set 600 cal. daily, I'll have to squeeze in some cardio on strength days. Thanks for the motivation guys, when I look at my weigh ins for this month I get discouraged but I'm hoping to see some kind of progress soon. I know I am getting more fit because I have to work harder to burn the same amount but not…

I'm excited for triple day!! I've been working out consistently for about 6 weeks now and I have to work harder to get the same results. I'm happy for being more fit but realizing the easy burn honeymoon is over. Back to reality, and I definitely need to kick ut up a notch if I don't won't to plateau.

Me too. I live in south MIssissippi. I have a love/hate relationship with the culture. I love the spirituality, hospitality and perserverence I see. I hate the tolerence /contentedness to be ignorant or uneducated and the LOVE of food as a cure all or means of bonding. *stepping down from my soapbox now*

Great conversation. Some very interesting points of view!

At the time you posted I was in an etiquette class learning silly little things like the proper way to eat soup in a formal setting and where to place your napkin if you are excusing yourself to the bathroom :)

Hope you feel better soon!! The challenge is all about motivation to be a healthier and fit you, so taking a day or two to listen to your body and take care of it is nothing to apologize for.

My scale died yesterday :( I weighed myself yesterday morning and it read a 16 lb loss. I knew that was wrong, turned it off then back on and tried it again, then it read a 2lb gain!! AARGGHH!! Bought a new scale today and hope it will be friendlier than the last one!
