What are you doing for diet and exercise?

I've had 4 kids and am trying to lose all the baby weight. Feel free to add me.

Is eating 1/2 oats for breakfast and 1/2 cup of lentils, chickpeas, or sweet potatoes in place of rice or potatoes at supper time over doing it? Would that amount be significantly more fiber than the latter? I haven't researched it very much I am definitely getting more fiber in vegetable intake so I suppose that could be…

You are probably right. I had it set to 1500 daily calories before, but saw no change in the first two weeks. So I lowered it and cut out sugar and caffeine (my weaknesses). Edited: as for measurements, my weights seem too light now compared to when I started and I started at 25 minute workouts and have upped it to 45 with…

Yes, for a couple of weeks before for the diet change. But I am fairly active regularly prior to that (carrying a 22 lb infant on walks regularily, cleaning house literally all day, etc.), just didn't do things that got my heart rate up. No difference in leg measurements. Slight difference in arms. No, fairly low sodium…

I am eating a lot of vegetables and salads with homemade low fat dressing and some fruits, white meats, nuts, cheese, chick peas, oats, lentils. I am staying at 1200 calories a day, but I will eat half of my exercise calories up to a max of 1500 a day. I should add I am 5'8 and 195 pounds.. So I have quite a bit to lose.

I am currently 192, with a goal of 150. 26 and 5'7. How tall are you?

I joined this group four years ago! I never shared my birth story. I now have 3 birth stories for 3 wonderful little boys! I will try and keep them short :P Boy number one- went overdue by a week and the doctor determined that the amniotic fluid level was much too low, so we opted for an induction 2 days later. Was already…

Also christian soon to be homeschooling mom to 3 little boys (25 years old). Hoping to lose a stubborn 25 pounds without vanity coming into it. All for His glory and also to keep up and play active with my busy guys.

Have 3 little kids, my youngest is 7 months. I have lost the pregnancy weight and more already, but still need to lose a stubborn 25 pounds that I have carried with me my whole life

25 year old mom of 3 little boys. Feel free to add me, I need more moms on my friends list for motivation.

I am a 24 year old mom of a 3 year old, 2 year old and 6 month old and am around 187 pounds and 5'8. Hoping to be 169 by May for my 5 year vow renewal with my husband. Ultimately would like the weigh in at 150. I can definitely be a support and can use some motivation too. Don't rush yourself, and don't diet too much at…

I have a 3 year old, 2 year old, and 6 month old boys. Have around 40 pounds to lose. Hoping to lose 20 by may because my husband and I are renewing our vows. What are your goals? Feel free to add me

December 15 th for me!
-
Thank you for all of the really great responses. Makes me more motivated to continue.

In, I will do 100 floor ones and the rest standing

That's awesome to hear. I can't wait to hear that too! Great motivational verse too. Congrats!!
-
Haha, mine too!
-
How has it helped?
-
Wow for 7 kids, you look amazing!

I would have to agree. I cook what I cook, and try to stay healthy with veggies. If my husband doesn't like something, he picks it out. Maybe ask him to be discreet about his disdain for vegetables to not influence your kids decisions about them. I also try to keep things that I know he doesn't like in a separate pot if…

Yeah I started at 194 and I'm 5'7. I thought 10 pounds would make a visible difference since I don't have too much to lose, but that's ok. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one and that I will eventually notice.
-
I'm in. Will try with two 5lbs.
-
It seems that for the most part, 20 pounds is the number. Thanks! I look forward to reaching that.
