No progress pics for me yet cuz I've only been logging for a month or so but I have lost 9lbs! SW- 209 CW-200 GW-150? I haven't decided yet. My lowest was around 165 so I'm not sure how I'll look at 150

SW as of 9/10: 209 CW as of 10/8: 200 Can't believe I've lost 9 lbs! So happy :) Hope it continues and I can be down to 195 by Halloween

I love it! I found a hiking/camping store that carries it. I only bought one jar but I'll be going back when I run out. It is a great substitute for me because I love peanut butter. I love PB2 in oatmeal :)

I learned a great tip from my half marathon training buddy last year- try to puff out your belly when you breathe. The pain should be gone after 3 or 4 breaths. Sounds weird but it works. It helps you breathe deeply and slowly.

I had a tiny success today...a coworker asked if I was losing weight...I've only lost 3lbs so it probably isn't noticeable but something must be different! It's the small things that count right? :)

My whole family is overweight and my youngest sister who is 10 is on her way. I want to set a good example and prove to myself that despite having bad genes and growing up learning unhealthy habits that being overweight isn't my fate!

You're going to have good days and bad days. The reason I love this site is I can see exactly what I need to do to make up for my "mistakes." Today for example tonight I went over on my calorie limit but justified it by committing to going for a walk with my bf after the football game. We're heading out now... :)

Congrats on the 5k! I'm also here in Tucson and running that race was a great way to help yourself and support our community. So cool you got to meet a BL contestant!

I' ve found that when I sign up for a race no matter what the distance- half marathon or just a 5k - I'm always motivated to go work out because I picture how I want to finish strong and I know I can't get there unless I train! It works even if the race is months away.

I've found that too...or if I work out really hard on the eliptical my cal count on the machine is much higher than the one on MFP, which one is more accurate?

Welcome! A 5k is a great motivation especially since it's for a good cause. From my experience races are so much fun and you'll be so proud of yourself when you finish! Good luck :)

My favorites... Breyer's no sugar added vanilla ice cream Jello Pudding Cups - no sugar and only 60 cal. chocolate whey protein w/ 1 cup skim milk and a whole banana for a blended smoothie Swiss miss no sugar added hot cocoa - also only 60 calories. Yummy :)
