First key - shop the perimeter of the store. It is where the freshest and most nurtitious item are. The produce, dairy, meats. the center aisles have all of the processed foods. Second, the more ingrediants there are the less healthy the food is likely to be. For example - if you like peanut butter it should have nothing…

What about swimming? It is very low impact and great cardio. There is also aqua aerobics. Ask your doc. You can also search for isometric exercises and low mobility exercises. there are some good ideas out there. Once you find some that appeal to you see what your doctor thinks about them.

Though I've been married 10 years, I remember the feeling. I switched to eating meals off of a salad plate to control portion size. Half of the plate veggies and the other two quarters starch and protein. I also used the "buff brides" book for workouts I could fit into my schedule.

You can do it! You are here trying this and seeking support. Celebrate that today! Handle tomorrow when it gets here.

First - your weight does not measure your worth! Second - what would you say to a friend if they felt like you do today? You have to be as nice to yourself as you would to a friend. Trust me, I do the same thing and need a regular reminder that I would never be this hard on someone else.

These are not my original ideas - saw them somewhere but can recall exactly --- 1. Make mini pizzas with zucchini as the "crust" Very yummy, more nutrition, fewer calories, satisfies a craving 2. Hello! All I can say is that you totally inspire me!

1 to 1.5 lbs a week is totally healthy. Too much too fast isn't good. Slow and steady wins the race. I'm down 10 in 6 weeks. 7 in 3 weeks is awesome!
