I never outright ban any food, but I find that as I'm budgeting my calories and planning my meals, some foods just don't fit in anymore. Most fast foods and junk food, chocolate, chips. Also nonspecific foods, ie foods brought into the office, doughnuts, muffins, candy, etc... I nearly always skip where I never would have…

I have a frozen meal maybe 3 times a week for lunch while I'm at work. My current favourite is a butter chicken one that's a store-brand where I live. A little over 300 calories and tastes great, with not too much sodium. I get them for 2.50 when the store brand dinners are on sale, and that's not prohibitively high for…

Because I went to see Monty Python & the Holy Grail in the theatre by myself.

I'm digging vanilla almond special K right now, and also peanut butter cheerios. Both are 100-110 calories a serving.

It could be just your natural body type, unfortunately, you could be predisposed to hold weight around your middle. I've read somewhere that if you lose weight, it goes in a last-in-first-out order, IE the last place you were putting your weight on is where you will lose weight first. I'm not sure how scientific it is, but…

You can't focus on week-to-week numbers. At different times of the month I can go up a lb or 2 in a single day, but I know it's all water and as long as I don't stray from my numbers, it will eventually come off again. I know it can be frustrating to see that number on the scale go up when you've done everything right that…

I can't find Skinny Corn Chips in the grocery stores around here anymore. It makes me sad :(

Perhaps it's the types of food that you are eating? Not enough protein or maybe eating a lot of white carb or sugar? I am 300+ lbs and have been eating on average 1700-1800 a day for the past 6 months almost, and I am not starving. Feel free to have a look at my food diary.

I just started watching Switch Girl, highly recommend. It's like a live-action anime :)

Try http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php You can plug in the ingredients, let it know how many servings the recipe is for, then it will tell you how many calories per serving based on what you put in the dish.

We have something similar at the grocery store here, except they call them Pop-Crisps. Never tried. For my low cal styrofoamy delivery system, I go with Ryvyta snack breads. 20 calories for 1, and it's nice with some hummus or peanut butter.

Nothing... I tend to skip breakfast on the weekends.

I used to drink massive amounts of sugar-sweetened coffee. I switched to tea, and I choose fruit or mint varieties which I am able to drink without any sugar or milk. It makes a big difference in training my taste buds to like naturally sweet rather than demanding additional sugar.

Whole wheat sandwich bread (I like wonderbread!) Miracle Whip (calorie-wise) Tuna Sliced turkey breast or ham Eggs Individual Greek yogurts String cheese Apples Bananas Berries (whatever's on sale) Frozen dinners (typically indian-style or turkey-dinner style, less than 350 calories) Hummus Crispbread or crackers Pita…

I often make 'pizza' out of a pita bread, some sauce, lowfat mozzarella and half a serving of pepperoni. I eat it at least three times a week because it's quick and easy, and gives me that pizza experience without a whole lot of calories.

You need a scale, and to weigh the pasta dry. Because depending on how much you cook it, it can absorb more water and the serving size changes. I never trust cup measurements for stuff like dry pasta, shredded cheese, rice, etc... The only way I can know for sure what I'm eating is to weight it.

My diagnosis came a couple of years ago. My heel pain was concentrated more on the inside of the heel rather than the middle or outside part. It was also a lot worse in the morning, or at other times when I'd been off my feet for a while and get up again. It's the inflamed ligament or whatever that would hurt and be stiff…

Beyond the Lighted Stage Great documentary about a classic rock band, even non-fans could give this one a watch and be entertained. Metal: A Headbanger's Journey & Global Metal Two documentaries about heavy metal music that are very entertaining and informative, especially if you're a fan.

Me as well. Been tracking for more than 5 months now, MFP is a great tool, and free!

I like Wendy's salads. Everything but the taco salad is decent if you're watching calories. If you order a regular salad, only use 1 packet of dressing (they give you 2), and it's an OK meal. Their chili is also decent calorie-wise if you don't mind the sodium.

Just don't do it. Unless you're sleepwalking and have no control over what you're doing, just don't do it.

http://www.ryvita.com/en-ca/products/snackbread/original I have started to eat these things with hummus as a snack, and they're great. Only 20 cal for a large rectangle snackbread, 3 pieces for 60 calories. They're a lot larger than you might think.

I don't really get specific food cravings during that time of the month, but I am driven to eat more in general. I think it's in response to losing blood/iron or whatever. I don't use that as an excuse to go over my calories though; I typically eat 2-300 calories less than my goal anyway, so there's a bit of leeway built…

Try par-cooking them? I use this trick on normal oven-fries, where I boil the fries for about 5 minutes, strain, pat dry, and into the pan with a spritz of spray pam. Gets normal oven fries crispy, not sure how a sweet potato would respond.

They gave out free donuts at work today, but I cut mine in half and shared it with someone else :)

I love RR Cherry Pie too. Also 'Hey! It's Mosogourmet!!' and 'Marimo Marshmallow' are similar.

W-.. wha? Channing Tatum is too.... beefy to be Gambit. Taylor Kitsch was a fantastic Gambit, he just got stuck in a crappy movie. It wasn't his fault :(
