Besides the hotel gyms, take your swim suit if the hotel has a pool. Great way to cool off and get in some exercise

I have rewarded myself along the way. Mostly things that will help me stay in shape. I have bought new workout clothes, new home equipment such has kettlebell, floor mat, hand weights etc. We have long winters here and once I reach my goal I want to be able to stay there. Having inside equipment and dvds will help.

You have done well. NSV are better to me than scale victories because it shows you what you have accomplished. Clothes shopping is one of the best ways to see those NSVs. Great job

Sounds like your friend is jealous and does not know how to handle the new you. Some people are so afraid of losing someone when they become healthy. Unfortunately sometimes we have to cut people out of our lives. If they can not accept you for you, then they really arent your friend to begin with. I agree with Fitness.…

I would love to help motivate each other. I have done well with my weight and I do a lot of walking but I have just started adding things like planks, crunches, squats and some weights to my routine. Could use the motivation to keep going even after I reach my weight goal (6.6 lbs to go) I will send you a friend request

Let me share something my husband said to me not to long ago when I was feeling the same way. He said "there are many things in life we have absolutely no control over but we do have 100% control over what goes in our mouths" I had to let it sink in for a bit but he was right. It is up to me to make the decision if I want…

It all depends on the type of vacation. We tend to cruise a lot so I keep hydrated and do lots of walking. But when it comes to meals I start with fruit or salad then keep the high fat things to a minimum. If we rent a beach house or mountain cabin then im in control of the meals so it is like any other day except I tend…

Hi Iammy. Welcome to MFP. This is a great place to get motivation and lots of support. Losing weight can be difficult but it is not impossible. Start by setting a small goal and then move on to the next goal. Taking it in smaller chunks really does help. I will send you a friend requeat

I agree with everyone else in that it is probably time to get a check up. There may be nothing wrong but you will now have a baseline in the drs files. As to the other part...When we finally make our minds up to go for a weight loss/fitness goal and we achieve it we are left with the feeling that we no longer have anything…

You are doing wonderful. Congrats on spending this time concentrating on yourself and your health

I have self talks. Asking myself why I want this, why is this important to me? Is the reason I started the journey the same now. Set yourself some new goals, try something totally new, try new recipes. Anything that might give that reason to kick start things back up. You can do this, you have proven it to yourself already.

Light headedness/dizziness can truly be a sign of not getting enough to eat. While you may fall in the standardized weight limits of a person your height there are many factors that have to be taken into account before determining what is the right weight for you. I would say log your food. Make sure you are getting at…

Hi everyone. It has been a while since I posted here. Glad to be back. I have a fitbit and I aim for 5 miles a day but some days I just cant due to riding in a vehicle all day. So I will set my goal at 4 miles a day which would put me at 124 miles for the month of March. I do many of the Leslie Sansone. I just bought the…
