I had a great day yesterday. 9.06 miles of walking. I did a 15 minute walking video and then went about cleaning my house and working in the yard. 20.71/120

I understand the desire to just chat. To put it out there. The good and the bad. The day to day life struggles not just health and fitness or weight. Im Kathy. I live in Delaware and for the most part I have done well with my weight over the last few years. Up a pound down a pound etc. Then in January my husband had a…

Hey everyone. It has been a while since I have joined the challenge but needed some good motivation to push myself more than I have been. Been a little to lazy I think. So my goal is going to be 120 miles for the month of September. This means even on my rest day I have to keep moving 11.65/120

You have done an amazing job. Im sure you will reach those goals.

Im on week 2 and loving it. It seems to make me want to keep working out. I do my workout and then I have this desire to do it all over again. So I wont complain

I love my DVD collection and do most of my workouts at home. I have several Leslie Sansone videos as well as CIZE and a KettleWorx set. Enjoy them all. I can do things at my own pace and since the closest gym to me is over 30 minute drive this works. When the weather is nice, I love to take long walks and look for the…

I think we have all been there. What I have found that works for me is to get in the mindset that I need to weigh and measure my foods so that I learn what proper portions are. Sometimes we guess and we are so off base. Next, log, log, log all your food and drink. See where you are at each day. Get a handle on the food…

Small steps gets you there. Keep at it

Sorry you are going through this but I have to agree. You need professional help here. As for mom, well most moms are well meaning and do not realize that their words can actually cause damage. They dont mean to, it is just no matter how old our children get they are still our babies and we love them no matter what. As an…

The sky is the limit, but only if you let it be. I started telling myself this when I started flight training several years ago. As a child you always heard the Sky is the Limit but few of us actually go for it. It took me many years to reach for my dreams of being a pilot and it was one heck of a journey so I actually…

You are not alone in this. I had lost all my weight and was doing well at keeping it off, then the holidays came about and some back pain and pound by pound I put 20 of it back on. YIKES. The hard part though was admitting that I needed to regain control. I will tell you that getting online and coming here as often as I…

Congrats on the up coming marriage. I too have an extremely full life but what I found I had to do was get up an extra 30 minutes early in the morning. At first it is like pulling teeth. You just dont want to do it. After a while though, you find yourself enjoying the fact that you actually have some time for yourself. It…

Hi Robin - I sent you a friend request. Im always looking for motivating friends

So sorry to hear you had a bad day. It happens to all of us. Just take it for what it is and start fresh tomorrow. Do not get down on yourself. One day does not kill anyones healthy eating routine, it is just one day. I agree with Amy - do not try to over do it with exercise and restrict your eating to much. If you want to…

Shake it off and move forward. Life happens. Tomorrow is a bright new day and you can begin again

well my fine walking friends. This will be my last post of steps until the end of the month. I leave early tomorrow morning for a 10 day cruise. I have my fitbit charged so I can track but not sure how much wifi service I will have to post so I will wait until I get back home to put it all down. Remember each step is one…
