Did you prepay for your membership or sign a contract? If not, I would find another gym. You may even speak to one of the trainers or the manager about changing the "motivation" board. I would include things like most improved, and maybe post some challenges that people can opt into by putting their name under a pledge to…

Make sure you are weighing yourself at the same time everyday, and it doesn't hurt to check your scale. The last time I tried a weight loss program I had the same problem, going up and down 2 or more pounds in a day and it really was my scale! I got a new one and it is much more accurate.

Hi! It's my first day and motivation has been my biggest problem too. I'm going to try to focus on my inches instead of pounds, hopefully that will help
