  • Coffee?? Never thought about that! I purchased EAS Lean 15 protein powder after researching reviews, people love the taste....I however, do not. I will have to try it in my mornng coffee! Thanks!
  • Interested in learning more, not necessarily the challenge yet. I have been looking into it for a little while now and I know I will be trying it in the near future, just trying to focus on one thing at a time for now so I dont get too overwhelmed.
  • EAS Lean 15 Protein Powder ( 100 calories, 15 g protein, 5 g fiber) I tried it once so far, not the most pleasant taste but better than others tried. I hope to try it at home with some ice and a banana to flavor it up some. It had great reviews so I thought it would be worth a shot.
  • ^^^Ditto, as long as I have calories alloted for the day. I had some today in fact! :)

  • Way to go on your journey! I am usually the one always taking pictures and avoid cameras so I didnt have a before shot of my journey. I have a few from here and there but nothing from my heaviest. You can definitely see a big difference! You are doing great! Keep up the great work!
  • Polar FT4 for a few months and I LOVE it! It really motivates me and it is nice to see how much I personally am burning as opposed to what the machines in the gym think I am burning. Plus it tells you the ideal heart rate to burn fat. I love it and highly recommend it! :)
  • Agreed! Great job, you look amazing! You must share the challenge with us! I am doing a 30 day crunch challenge currently. Not seeing a difference yet but I am only 12 days in.
  • ^^^What she said! I totally agree. I havent lost as much but I have lost the 29 pounds in a few months by allowing myself these foods. This is a way of life, not a diet. When you start to deprive yourself of these treats is when you will fail at weight loss. Just dont forget to log it! :)
  • I didn't see difference in mirror until 25 pounds ( I'm 5'1"). I noticed change in pants after 5 plus pounds but not visual and others noticing until recently. When I got to 28 pounds lost, everyone at work started noticing.
  • I'm down to 121 and all I did was eat within my calories from mfp and ate back exercise calories. When I plateaued for a few weeks I upped my calories and that triggered weight loss again. I go to the gym 2 to 3 times a week, 3 miles total of jogging/walking, sometimes weights and kettle ball. I also do tae kwon do twice a…
  • I'm 5'1 and are 1200 calories for a few months plus my exercise calories I earned. I have now bumped it up to 1300 calories, add I plateaued and that has helped me lose 1lb a week again. I am very active daily and do tae kwon do twice a week and gym about 2 to 3 times a week.
  • I agree. At your weight, 1200 calories is a bit low. Beginning out, they typically suggest you cut out only 500 calories a day from your diet to get your body used to the change and then take it from there. I am only 5'1 at 121 pounds and 1200 calories is too low for me, I stay the same or gain weight eating that little.…
  • ^^^What she said ;)
  • Sounds just like my hubby!
  • Mine does not however my manual mentioned an app you can download however it is only for apple and I have an android.

  • Count me in and feel free to add me even if you aren't my "twin" My stats: CW - 122 lbs H: 5'1" GW: 110 - 115 lbs. Age: 32
  • I'm 5'1", goal is 110-115, final goal is to get toned. Currently 122.
  • Congrats! You look amazing! I am about 7-10 pounds from my goal and then I want to tone everything. My goal was a bikini this year but I do not feel comfortable quite yet. We will see. Congrats again on your success story!
  • I just got my Polar FT4 heart rate monitor watch, it comes with a chest strap, and I must say I already LOVE it! It calculates calories burned based on your heart rate and other information you input in the settings. It lets you know what range your heart rate should be at and lets you see real time calories burned and…

  • Happened to me too so I banned them from my household. I thought they were supposed to be good for you, not make me look like I was 6 months preggo! It just has to get out of your system naturally. I couldnt find anything to make it better myself unfortunately. Maybe try Biotin supplements (good for digestive track) and/or…
  • ^^Ditto (and buy some new clothes!)
  • Feel free to add me if you want. I am 5'1" and curvy (at least my bottom portion, LOL). I started at 150lbs but I am down to 123. I just got a heart rate monitor too and hope to use it for the first time tonight.
  • I concur with everyone else. Before MFP, I kept a little journal and would write down my weight loss goal for the week. I would only look at each week and not worry about the overall number because it can be overwhelming for anyone. MFP makes it easier since all the logging can be done on our phone, as well as weight…
  • I'm 5'1, 123 pounds currently, workout about 3 times a week. MFP calories set itself up at 1270, I try to stay around there however if I workout, I try to eat more. My goal is anywhere between 1200 - 1400 calories a day. I just try not to go over 1400. I have lost either weight every week or inches every week doing this :)…
  • I concur with the previous posts. I thought I was staying within my calorie range but this site has a great food log with a scanner option for smart phones. I was surprised at how many calories I was actually consuming when I began using the tracker. Weight lifting is great for building muscle, which will help your…
  • Special K protein bars when I am craving chocolate! At 110 calories, it is well worth it for me! I also like laughing cow cheese, turkey pepperoni, and triscuits when I have a few hundred calories to spare, 2% string cheese, coffee with skim and splenda, Cereal with almond milk, fresh fruit, cinnamon almonds (Emerald makes…
  • I want the Polar F7, I have been researching for months and I think that will track my exercise the best. I am looking for something that doesnt have a monthy subscription fee, removeable battery, and can track my heart rate for a more accurate calorie burn report. Anyone have a Polar or Garmin and can suggest a model that…
  • Added :) Feel free to add me as well! I have my last 15-20 pounds to go and they are stubborn! I could use the support!
  • You can add me. I am now stuck with 10 pounds left to goal (although 15 would be even better). I need motivation and would love to see what meal and exercises are working for everyone.
