My kickboxing teacher would have us take turns holding each other's feet. Basically you hold onto the bar and have someone stand behind you standing normally. Bend your knees one at a time until your weight is off the ground. You can push off with your legs for a little extra strength if you need it and it takes a little…

check walgreens or walmart pharmacy department. They have ankle supports. Also look into super supportive running shoes. You might want to talk to your doctor if you're worried and see if he can recommend anything specially designed for running.

Thanks Jenn!

Steep tea in a teapot. Pour milk in the cup. Pour tea over the milk. I worked at a tea room for a while and did a lot of research on the history of tea. The reason milk was originally added to tea was to cool the tea as it entered the cup so it wouldn't break the porcelin because the English had not yet learned how to…

I tried that for a year. Not a single pound off.

Grab yourself a set of gym clothes that makes you feel sleek. Then start off running 30 seconds for every minute of walking. Once you get used to the feel of running and get to the point where you start enjoying it, you'll care less what others think of what you look like during. Also, think of how absolutely satisfying…

If you add a little exercise (maybe 20 minutes of walking/running intervals) you'll get 100-200 extra calories added back into your budget. Also you might consider manually adjusting the number of calories in your daily goal up to 1300 depending on how fast you're trying to lose weight.

Yeah you're not adding calories when you cook the pasta unless you add oil or something to the water. Just the weight and size change. (the number of calories per noodle doesn't change)

SWEET!! Can't wait 'til next week!!!

Jump back on track today. Try to have less "bad" days and stick it out for the long run but understand that sometimes cheat days happen and don't beat yourself up about it.

thanks!

I'm DDD and have a hard time running while PMSing because I'm extra sensitive then. I'm glad this thread came up cause my supposedly high impact isn't doing the job.

Seriously try not to net below 1200 on a regular basis! Also you probably shouldn't go under your bmr for more than a month or two and maybe give yourself a break and eat just above it for a couple weeks.

Where can I find this?

hehe my goal weight is sugar!

I actually just restarted running a couple days ago. I used to be able to run a few miles nonstop. Right now I'm just working on not having to switch to walking every 2-3 minutes.

If you prefer the workout videos or the gym, ease into them. Don't get frusterated that you can't keep up, just go at your own pace. Of if swimming is still something you enjoy, try swimming some laps a couple times a week and work up from there. If you find an exercise you enjoy, you're more likely to stick to it. Also…

Ooh that sounds amazing. I keep forgetting this exists

I'm not sure about keeping fat from sticking but cinnamon is great to keep your sugar levels stable. Also honey (raw honey, see if you can find a honey farm or check whole foods because the stuff on grocery shelves is overheated and watered down) is great for you as long as you don't go overboard. So while I'm not sure…

That's awesome! I'd really say just don't worry about it then. I just keep it listed to keep me aware of my sugar intake and don't really worry when it goes over as long as I'm not scarfing doughnuts or something.
-
I think it really depends on where you're getting your sugar. I've almost reached my limit on an orange and a cup of milk. From what I've seen the sugar limit is set really low.
-
First check that you're steeping it right. If you steep it more than 3 minutes it goes bitter really fast. Also, if you're using boiling water, let it sit for about a minute before adding the tea.

There's nothing wrong with drinking tea. It has tons on antioxidents and is great for your overall wellbeing. You just have to be careful how much sugar and cream you add. 1-2% milk is a great replacement for people who use half&half or heavy cream and is actually what was traditionally used for tea time (yes, they always…

Definately! Your body counts teas as water. Also, if you drink milk you can count 2/3 of that as well.

Microwave it in a bag and if you want to add a topping (Mrs. Dash, etc) spray with a little butter flavored cooking spray first to make it stick.

it will be different based on the weight of what you're measuring. the 250 ml is the weight (or rather volume) of 1 cup of water.

If it looks like yogurt and it tastes like yogurt, it's fine. My yogurt from october is still good. The enzimes in yogurt easily kill off most things that would turn other foods. The thing you have to look out for is the yogurt with fruit because the fruit will go bad and turn the whole batch. Edit: Random note on yogurt:…

Yesterday I sauted a pound and a half of mushrooms, an onion, and two cloves of garlic and only used a tsp of vegetable. You just have to stir more often until the vegetables release their water. The oil only added an extra 33 calories to the whole recipe.
