I'm at 1800 and usually eat my exercise cals back and I've lost 14 pounds since the beginning of the year.

I'm at 1800 + exercise calories which is roughly 600 below my TDEE

I'm sure you'll see results from this and I'm excited for you. It sucks having your calories super restricted.

While not everyone eats back their calories, if you are already limiting your caloric intake, you're already going to lose weight so anything extra that you burn exercising creates an additional defecit. Eating back calories is honestly more important if you're burning say 1000 calories every day than if you're burning 100…

"Whatever" from your opponent means you've just won the argument and they don't want to admit it.

Use it as cooking oil. It has a ton of health benefits. There are a lot of other uses but I can't think of too many off hand. Try doing a forum search for it.

As long as you don't care that I eat meat, I don't care that you don't.

Ooh I'll have to try that one. I haven't found a cookies n cream one.

Lost about 10 dozen large eggs and have about a bale of hey left to lose

I use the Body Fortress powder as it had the most protein content of the protein shakes at wallyworld. They're great especially if you're lifting or having trouble getting a decent amount of protein. Also this has a better flavor than the others I tried. (hated Jillian's and it barely had any protein in it...)

My friends doctor has her on an anti seizure med (not sure which one) for depression. Also research into depression and bipolar treatment for my novel has shown that it's common practice to perscribe meds for their side effects.

Beans and rice are great on proteins. Milk. Eggs (if you don't like the flavor try disguising it, eg. blend large egg well with a banana and cook as pancakes. Add berries or walnuts for variety) or even just egg whites (maybe find a low cal meringue recipe). Also is it all types of meat you don't like? What about fish and…

You can manually adjust your daily allowances on calories, sugar, carbs, etc. When I first started I was going over my sugar just from fruit and milk. I was also way low on my calories (it set me at 1500). I did a TDEE calculation and have been losing on average over a pound a week on 1800 + exercise calories. If you want…

This is something I could not do. Even if it wasn't for working graveyards.

Running or brisk walking (especially soon after waking up). I've had to shut off the treadmill a few times and make a run for it. Other exercises don't seem to work as well for me.

Not logging in for over a month (there are a couple I'm really hoping will come back so I haven't deleted them". I haven't had enough other problems yet but there have been some jerks on the forums who I would have deleted of they were my friends. Got a friend request turned down today :( but I understand. The person had…

Don't give yourself the option of failure. You will do this. You can do this. You're amazing like that!

Are you exercising? It sounds like your body composition is changing (the fat is turning into muscle).

Wait who's screwing Dr. Oz?

I definately used to be a soda addict. My favorites were Dr. Pepper and Root Beer, although I like other kinds as well. I went on a 1 month cold turkey challenge with a coworker and after the first week it really wasn't that hard. Now I'll buy a 20 oz occasionally if I really want one and the calories are in my budget and…

Been in the US my whole life (with the exception of a couple weeks as a teen). What part are you headed to?

Wait, does adding the flavored powder turn it into non-water? Heavens, what the minerals it picks up on the way to your glass must do to it! Now you have to distill every drop of water before you drink it, just to make sure it counts. And you'd better not put it into a bottle because the structure of the water molecule…

You'd better hit the treadmill tomorrow out of guilt. For an hour at least. That's what you get for going over.

Bag up single servings of your favorite treats ahead of time in ziplocks, that way you're less tempted to eat an entire bag of (insert craving here). Get your single serving out and snack IN A DIFFERENT ROOM than the snacks are stored to help fight the temptation to go back for seconds. Also, hydrate. Even slight…

While the packages are high in sugar, I don't actually see what you all are making such a big deal about. First, as long as you're tracking the calories, having some sugar is fine. Second, starting your day with carbs helps kickstart your energy for the day. Third, a lot of the sugar in this breakfast is from fruits,…

Kale chips! Spread single layer on a baking sheet, spray lightly with cooking spray, sprinkle with salt, and bake on low until crispy. Great to snack on.

That sounds like a great idea! First, like you mentioned, giving youself the extra leeway could definately help reduce the urge to binge. Second, even if you are eating at or slightly above maintainance for one day, you still have a great deficit for the week.
