Are you getting enough salt, potassium, etc, to keep up with how much you are sweating in your workouts? Maybe try replacing part of the water you drink before and during your workouts to a sports drink. I would recommend powerade because gatorade has an overbalance of sodium compared to the other electrolytes.

From experience, just make sure you ease out of it at the end over several days. As you reincorporate more proteins, make sure you are eating them in the same meal as raw fruits and veggies. Dance Dance Revolution!! It's great for getting you moving and burning calories without realizing it because you're having too much fun. You can get it for several game systems and buy a mat with it (or two mats). Last I checked Gamestop makes a dance mat controller that is compatable with multiple systems.
